VERDICT
October 11th, 2016: I was so excited to get this and try it, especially since I've heard so many good things about this brand and it's different (I've never tried a jelly mask like this before), but now that I have...oh no, I am not a fan. This is a very thick heavy feeling petroleum like gelatinous jelly that did not get along with my skin...nor was it cooling or soothing feeling like it says in the description.

It was a bit heavy and a teeny bit suffocating feeling while I had it on, but otherwise it felt fine and I only had to leave it on for 15 minutes, so I left it on for the 15 minutes before gently scraping the jelly off and immediately rinsing with water. Once removed, my face immediately felt so dry and tight AND it brought texture to my face. My face was soft and smooth going into this masking session, but somehow coming out of it my face was left kind of flaky and pore-y (is that even a word?) and had a rough texture feeling to it...especially around my nose and mouth. Maybe because it dried out my skin so badly? I don't know.

Also, this is supposed to be anti-acne and provide acne relief, but ironically this severely broke out my face. I did have a couple hormonal blemishes I was dealing with going into this masking session, which is why I decided to try this out today because it's supposed to be anti-acne, but this just made a whole bunch of acne bumps appear. Right now as I'm writing this review I have 10 acne patches on my face. 10! I had 2 blemishes going into this session, so that means 8 new acne bumps appeared after using this mask. Not cool. Hopefully since I caught it right as it formed though I can nip them in the butt by having the acne patches on.

This is my first time trying a product from Annie's Way, but I do know they're supposed to be a really good brand that a lot of people like so I hate being so negative, but I have to be honest and sadly and unfortunately this product just did not work out for me. I do hope to try other products from this brand though which will hopefully be better and as good as I hear they are, but obviously I will not be repurchasing or recommending this particular product.

Now I'm off to go slather my face with a bunch more hydrating products because my face still feels a bit dry and tight even after applying the rest of my evening skincare which included an essence, spray mask, ampoule, and serum.
