PRO TIP
Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.
Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.
To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.
To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.
Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

VERDICT
Really pretty gorgeous rosy dusty pink that has a gold shift to it. Very metallic and very glittery. One coat is sufficient, but two makes it perfect. Lasted for about a week and a half.

VERDICT
OMG...such a gorgeous color. So glad I got this shade. You do need to do two coats to make this completely opaque and even, but those two coats do the trick and it will look beautiful. This lasted for about a week on me before it started to chip so the wear time isn't too bad. Did stain my nails a teeny bit even with a base coat, but it was just around my cuticles and pretty negligible. This will definitely...excuse the play on words but, this will definitely make your friends green with envy.

VERDICT
I'm not usually a fan of black, or in this case super dark blackish graphite, nail polish but this one I absolutely love. This has a crap ton of super sparkly holographic glitter in it that mutes the darkness...the black color and just brings it to life.
The holographic glitter just absolutely outshines the darkness of this polish to make it so fun and sparkly and awesome. It makes me think of super bright sparkling stars sprinkled across the universe. It also lasted the entire week I had it on before I decided to switch it up, so it's super sparkly and awesome and lasts on the nails...but it does ever so slightly stain your nails just the teeniest bit.

VERDICT
You sort of have to strategically place the glitters, which is a little tedious if you want to do that...I clearly did not, but otherwise this is great. I love how it looks on its own on a clean nail and it also looks great on top of other nail polishes as well. One suggestion though is to go over this with a nice thick layer of top coat because the glitters can start to lift up at the corners and start to peel.

VERDICT
Fun and pretty for Valentine's Day. Not the easiest to apply...you have to work with it and manipulate the hearts and strategically place them so that it doesn't bunch up and go on weird, but well worth the effort. I love how my nails ended up looking.
Also, it lasted for a long time. I had it on for about 2 weeks and then I decided I wanted to take it off. Didn't chip or peel off or anything like that beforehand. Looked pretty much pristine the whole time...probably because it's just a clear polish with glitter in it. If you're looking for a polish that's cute and fun then you'll probably want to check this one out.

VERDICT
Another gorgeous color. I absolutely love it. The holographic microglitter gives it the perfect shine. One coat is almost, but not quite enough...it's about 85% opaque and even with one coat so I went ahead and did two coats which was perfect. It lost a little bit of it's lustre after 1 week, but otherwise it was still going strong (no chips) so this definitely has lasting power. Really glad I have this in my collection.

VERDICT
I LOVE this nail polish. Not only is it a beautiful Fuchsia Berry color that is sparkly/shimmery (the holographic microglitter in this gives it the perfect shine) this was one of the easiest polish applications. I went into this thinking that I might have difficulty applying it and that I would have to really work at it to get a flawless application, but this doesn't streak in the slightest and isn't patchy at all and it's very opaque so one coat is all that you need. This goes on so smoothly...you can run your brush over several times and it will not affect the polish other than to spread it smoothly and evenly. The formula for this is top notch. I wish all polishes were this smooth and easy to apply.
Oh, and it's got good lasting power as well. This lasted for about week and a half before it started chipping at the edges...and I'm someone that isn't careful because I might chip and ruin my polish. I will tear into things and go about my life and function like I don't have nail polish on so...

VERDICT
Really nice base coat. It goes on nice and smooth, but it does have a tackiness to it that really grips the polish. Whenever I use this base coat in conjunction with my Freedom Polymer top coat my polishes generally always last a minimum of a week...a lot of times longer unless it just a really crappy nail polish.

VERDICT
Not my favorite. I prefer the Freedom Polymer top coat. This one has a really thick sticky tacky goopey texture that did not go on smooth. As I swiped it on my nail it would go past my nail create these long stingy strands of top coat...does that even make sense? It was kind of like I was working with melted tacky caramel. I don't know if I just got a dud, but this top coat was a little tricky and hard to put on and I would just rather stick with the Freedom Polymer top coat.

VERDICT
I love this milky white super smooth matte base coat. I actually like it even better than the bonding base coat, which has a tackiness to it that's supposed to really adhere and bond to the nail polish to make it last longer...and polish does tend to last for a long time when using that base coat, but this...I just love how smooth and not tacky the base coat is.
I've tried it a few times now, but so far I haven't had any issues with the longevity of my polishes so if this continues to give me awesomely smooth nail polish applications without the tackiness and still last then this is will definitely be my new go to favorite base coat.

Holographic Chevron Nail Decals

VERDICT
A little difficult to work with...could be I'm just bad at using nail decals, but make sure you place it perfectly because once it sits on your nails you can't adjust it. I don't even mean completely press it and stick it on...just sitting on your nails, once its there you gotta commit.
Ironically, even though you can't adjust and budge it once it sits on your nails, the edges...I can't seem to get them to lie completely flat and stick. Needless to say these didn't last very long as the edges wouldn't stick down and got caught and ended up getting pulled up and ripped off.
If you are better than me at applying nail decals and can get this to actually stick down on the edges then these are very pretty and sparkly and holographic. Me...I'm gonna pass on these. It's just money down the drain for me.

White Skull and Crossbones Nail Wrap
VERDICT
These looked a lot better on the models hands then they do on my own hands, but still they were fun to have for halloween. In retrospect, I wish I would have trimmed off the nail outline along the perimeter first before sticking them on...I think it would've looked cleaner, crisper, and better with just the skull and crossbone pattern without the white outline, but you live and you learn so that's my tip to you if you use these.
Just like the chevron decals, once you place it you have to commit so make sure you've got it lined up just the way you want it. I then went in with two thick layers of top coat to really seal this baby in and it seems to have worked. They're still going strong several days later.
I liked these and had much better luck with these, so if you're interested in spicing up your nails with some skull and crossbones then give these a go...if you can find it. I can't seem to find it on the Julep site anymore. Anywho, one last thing to note though...these are a bit fragile and can break apart as you remove it from the backing so take your time and go slowly and gently.

VERDICT
This stuff is great. So easy to use and very effective. It really does soften your cuticles and makes it so much easier and pain free to push back the cuticles and remove. Also, I think it really does reduce regrowth because my cuticles used to get crazy out of hand before, but it's not as bad as it used to be.
