VERDICT
July 2nd, 2018: I love this stuff. This is a great toning/booster mist that is very hydrating and smoothing. The description does say it's a 3 in 1 toner, essence and emulsion, but I think emulsion is a stretch. To me, this is just a great first step toner or pick me up mist, which is how I use this.

After I've cleansed my face, I go straight in with this and just spray a crap ton on my face. It's got a really nice even fine mist that just envelopes my face with hydration and because it has such a fine mist, it just sinks right into the skin and does a great job of prepping my face for all the other skincare to go on top...but it's also great as a pick me up booster mist and works great on top of makeup as well. Not so much to set and prolong the makeup, but to meld it all into the skin for a more natural hydrated lit from within finish...but be careful when you start to run out of product because that fine mist will not be so fine anymore. When it's on it's last legs, it'll start to squirt uneven droplets of product onto your face instead and the mist is not so fine and even anymore, so when you get towards the end probably best to use this just for skincare and not on top of any makeup.

It's also great for those lazy days when I don't feel like doing skincare. I'll spray on a crap ton of this then follow it up with some of Missha's First Treatment Essence: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/05/missha.html (Missha does sell a mist version, but I like to get the bottled essence and transfer that into a spray bottle) and Nooni's Deep Water Therapy Dual Moisturizing Toner (reviewed below, which I also transfer into a spray bottle) and call it a day. Now if you have dry skin this lazy "routine" is not going to be enough...unless you do multiple multiple layers with these, and by these I mean focusing on the Missha and in particular the Nooni Dual Moisture, but if you have oily skin or it's summer and you don't need as much moisture then this "lazy routine" should suffice...not something you want to implement everyday, but for those lazy days this 3 step 3 layer spray routine should do the trick to help keep the status quo.

Now, that said, I've got to point out that this does contain alcohol. Two types apparently. One is specified as cetearyl alcohol which is a good alcohol (at least according to Paula's Choice), but it also lists an unspecified alcohol as well, so if you're sensitive or ingredient conscious, then FYI. Although it does claim to be alcohol free, so maybe it's not a bad alcohol? Who knows. Also, it's only got 100 ml of product, so I find myself going through a bottle of this really quickly.

September 14th, 2017: I can never tell if I have sensitive skin or not. Sometimes I think something will be fine, but then it wants to be reactive and sometimes I'm a little weary and afraid it might make my skin react, but then it likes to be resilient and I can never tell what my skin is thinking or up to sometimes...it just kind of depends on the time, the day, it's mood, etc. If it wants to be sensitive it'll be sensitive and if it doesn't want to be it won't. With this product it decided to be sensitive, and by sensitive I mean this made my face sting...particularly around the nose and mouth areas. Because of that, I can't really give a proper full review, as I've only used this a couple times before stopping due to my skin's sensitivity, but let me back track for a second.

These are individual pads that are DRENCHED in an AHA/BHA formula. It supposedly has an embossed side and a smooth side, but its kind of hard to tell...at least to me. For me, both sides look and feel the same. It's got a...how to explain this...a lemony-sweet nail polish remover scent? It's kind of got that nail polish/cleaning product base scent topped off with a lemon-y sweet scent that helps to dull down the nail polish-y smell that I'm not a fan of...but it's not enough to turn me off completely and once you're done swiping the pad over your face you can't really smell it anymore.

The couple times that I did use it, I guess this did seem to help keep the oils at bay in my t-zone the next day, but other than that I don't know that I really noticed a difference and I can't really comment any more beyond that. I did use the excess (after I was done swiping it on my face) on my elbows and it seemed to do a great job of polishing my elbows to be smooth, so I think it would work fantastically for that, but that's about as much insight as I can provide since I did not continue to use this product.

I suppose I probably could've kept using it because aside from the temporary stinging it didn't really seem to negatively affect my skin in any other way in those couple uses. The stinging did fade after several minutes, but I figure it can't be good for my skin if it's making it sting and I didn't want to chance it, especially since it's not like it was making a huge life changing difference to my skin, so I stopped. Even if there isn't any immediate noticeable damage, I figured in the long run...yeah.

Also, I noticed this does contain alcohol (not only that, but it's the fourth ingredient listed) so if you're ingredient conscious beware. If you have oily skin then you might like this better, but overall I'm just not a fan and if you have sensitive skin then I would say definitely stay away...regardless of the fact that Memebox say it's suitable for all skin types. Definitely a pass for me, but the one positive thing I can say about this is that it's a super easy and convenient lazy-girl product. If only the formula were better...

July 3rd, 2017: Nooni hit it out of the park with this moisturizer as well. I love this cream. It's got such a beautiful silky smooth white cream formula that just glides onto the face and sinks in beautifully leaving you with awesomely hydrated and moisturized skin that is silky soft and smooth and radiant.

This variation is a more rich heavy duty cream that gives you even more hydration and moisture than the #Fresh cream variation reviewed below, but yet it's still somehow lightweight and non-suffocating...albeit a little less than the #fresh variation, which is why people with dry skin will probably love and benefit more from this #balancing variation.

People with oily/combo skin will probably love the #fresh variation more since it's even more light weight than this one and well...more fresh feeling, but I feel like anyone can use and love this #balancing cream too. It's richer and more heavy duty than the #fresh cream, but I still find it to be very comfortable and breathable on the skin. I definitely love both. I love using the #fresh variation in the morning as my day cream and the #balancing variation in the evening as my night cream.

I did notice that alcohol is listed as an ingredient. There's cetearyl alcohol which is a good alcohol, but farther down they list alcohol again but this time it's unspecified as to what kind of alcohol it is...but I honestly couldn't tell there was any in there and it's definitely still super hydrating and moisturizing and not drying in the least, so it doesn't seem to be doing any damage. There's also fragrance in this as well if you're someone that's sensitive or ingredient conscious, but I still love this stuff regardless. It performs beautifully and works wonders to help keep my skin perfectly hydrated, bouncy, silky soft and smooth and radiant 24/7...and speaking of fragrance, it doesn't have a strong or obtrusive scent. It just smells slightly of...it's got a plant like natural scent that isn't very strong and dissipates quickly, so it's non-obtrusive.

I will definitely be buying a full pot of this cream as well and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a very moisturizing yet comfortable face cream. I'm really loving everything from the Deep Sea Water collection from Nooni...I've absolutely LOVED everything that I've tried from this line so far. There's one more item in the Deep Sea line, a mist, and I can't wait to get my hands on that and try it as well. The toner, the #fresh cream, and this #balancing cream have all done wonders for my skin.

June 3rd, 2017: I LOVE this cream...even more than the Youth to the People cream that I recently tried back in May: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2017/05/youth-to-people-skincare.html...which I still love, but I do love this one just a bit more AND it's cheaper.

It's got such a silky smooth watery gel-like formula that glides on your face and is super lightweight, but still really hydrating and it just sinks in beautifully and leaves you with a beautiful healthy radiant lit from within glow. It is the perfect day cream for the hot summer months that are starting up, and despite what I said before, this will definitely be my go to cream this summer. How it manages to be so hydrating and moisturizing while still being so lightweight and fresh feeling I don't know, but I like it. It's not greasy or suffocating feeling or anything like that either and it's just so comfortable on the skin I think that people with oily or combo skin will love it as well.

I will definitely be buying a full sized pot of this for the summer, and recommend that you check this out as well. It is awesome...although pleas take note that this does contain fragrance if you are sensitive or ingredient conscious.

Size: 80 pieces
Toss away your basic cotton balls and make room for your toner's new BFF! We're hooked on this cotton pad that does exactly what we want it to do, without bunching or shedding!

It's genius, really. This premium cotton sheet comes with finger inserts, so that our precious beauty product applies evenly and effectively onto the skin instead of getting lost in a linty cotton ball or scrunched up cotton round. Plus, these silk-infused cotton sheets are beyond soft, made of durable, double-layered material, and sans fluorescent agents, so that there's no pulling, tugging, or hurting our delicate skin.

HOW TO USE
1. Cleanse and dry face.
2. Slip 1-2 fingers into pocket on the back of the cotton sheet and dispense desired amount of toner onto the opposite side of cotton sheet.
3. Gently swipe saturated cotton across face and neck to tone and moisturize.

May 28th, 2017: Meh...not a fan of these cotton pads. To be honest they feel a bit cheap...they feel weak and flimsy and are not that plush. I suppose it is on the soft, but I've used softer and while it doesn't shed or outright tear apart, whenever I try to use the finger inserts it does rip at the seams no matter how gentle I try to be with it so I've given up on using the finger inserts at this point.

If you're looking for an awesome cotton pad then I suggest checking out the Shiseido Facial Cotton sheets: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2017/01/shiseido-skincare.html. Those are the best that I've tried so far and I absolutely love them.

May 26th, 2017: OMG I love this stuff. Not only does it have beautiful packaging, but this is the best most hydrating and moisturizing and nourishing toner that I've ever tried thus far. If I had to choose just one toner to use for the rest of my life...so far, of all the toners that I've tried, I think this would be the one. It's a bi-phase toner that has a layer of various fermented oils and a layer of Deep Sea Water that blends to give so much hydration and moisture to the skin and leaves you with a gorgeous beautiful healthy radiant lit from within glow.

As much as I want to and have tried to incorporate an oil into my routine I've never really been able to find one that I love, but this is the perfect product that let's me do that. It's super lightweight, non-greasy/non-oily, sinks right in and just feels so good and hydrating and nourishing on the skin.

I feel like this has really helped to balance out my skin as well. I don't even think I can classify my skin as being combo-oily anymore. It's more normal now, unless I fall off my skincare wagon in which case it now gets dry. The only time my face gets oily nowadays is if I use a greasy oily product...like the Julep sunscreen that I'm currently trying out. That stuff is so greasy/oily. Anywho, other than that I don't get oily anymore...my t-zone is free and clear. As long as I use this and keep up with my skincare, my skin just seems to be really happy.

Whether you have dry skin or oily skin I think anyone can use this and love this, and I definitely recommend that you give it a try. It's super hydrating and moisturizing so people with dry skin would probably love incorporating this into their routine, but it's also super lightweight and absorbs right into the skin and feels so good and comfortable so even if you had oily skin I think you would enjoy incorporating this into your routine as well and see great things with this as I feel like it really does help balance the skin and it will help you to be less oily in the long run...I agree with the description given in it's entirety.

The only con is that ever since Memebox revamped their site and no longer sells their items directly, but through third party people on Amazon this stuff has gotten so much more expensive...as have all the other products I've noticed. I originally bought mine for $12 on Memebox, but on Amazon it now sells for $30.40 which is more than double the original price that I paid. It's still worth the $30 in my opinion, but I just hate knowing that I had gotten it for so much cheaper before. At least I have a backup that I bought before this whole change took effect to tide me over for longer, but once I'm done with that bottle I will still, begrudgingly, shell out the $30 that it now costs to keep this in my life because I think it's that good. My skin just loves this stuff.

BTW, like Memebox suggests with their "memetips" above, this does make a great DIY pick me up mask. Just soak some cotton pads with this stuff and stick it where you need it.

FYI, this too contains frangrance if you are sensitive or ingredient conscious.

April 25th, 2017: I have been back and forth with this product. I did not have a good first impression of this product, but as I used it a couple more times I changed my mind and I liked it, but then as I continued to use it a few more times I'm back to not being a fan but for a different reason than my first impressions.

So the very first time I used this, I think I used too much product. It gave me such a terrible white cast, which is why I wasn't initially a fan of this product...but then I went back and tried it again using less product and it was actually really nice. I found it to be nicely brightening without the white cast and it made my complexion look more even and naturally radiant, which I liked. However, as I continued to use it, I think it was clogging my pores. I started to breakout and the only thing that was different was this product. This doesn't really feel heavy or emollient, but I'm pretty sure it was this...especially since I stopped breaking out once I stopped using this product.

Didn't use this long enough to judge whether this really does help to fade dark spots and pigmentation, but since this broke me out its a definite pass for me.

VERDICT
I have loved and been a fan of all the Nooni products that I've tried so far, but this one...this one was just ok. I was actually quite disappointed the very first time I used it, but have since then figured out how to make it work for me so that it's ok. Still don't love it, but it's not as terrible as I initially thought it was...but it all depends on how you use it.

So the very first time I tried this, I used it with the whip maker and I followed the directions to a 'T'. I used a pearl sized amount of cleanser with the recommended amount of water, which is marked on the whip maker, and pumped it to create the marshmallow foam. First off, it created way too much foam. I ended up wasting a lot of the cleanser. Secondly, I feel like the ratio of using the recommended amount of product and water diluted the efficacy of the cleanser. It created a super airy lightweight barely there foamy bubbly texture, but it did nothing for my face...like literally nothing. It was as if I hadn't cleansed or done anything to my face other than rinse it off with some water. The whip maker made the diluted cleanser way too airy and fluffy to be effective in my opinion. I was so taken aback by the results that I actually double checked the directions to make sure I didn't mess it up somehow along the way but I hadn't. However, I didn't give up after that first try.

The second time I tried it I used more product (I doubled the recommended amount and used a good two pearl sized amount of cleanser) with less water (I used half the recommended amount) and that worked out a lot better. Still not fantastic, but this gave me a denser more marshmallow like foam that didn't feel like I was just rubbing whipped air on my face. This actually got in there to do some cleansing and it left my face feeling a lot cleaner and a bit smooth. Still wasted some of the whipped cleanser...the whip maker really fluffs the cleanser up to create a ton of product, but overall it was a much better experience then that first try.

They say third times a charm, and that was definitely the case here. Still not amazing, but I liked it the best the way I used it the third time...using the cleanser straight out of the tube without the whip maker. Again, I took more than the recommended amount...I took a good two pearl sized amount of cleanser and just lathered it up with my hands and worked it into my face for a good minute and this has been the best method so far in my opinion to make it work and give the best effect. Using less product, or not working it in for a good minute will make it less effective, but two pearl sized amounts and working it in for a full minute seems to do the trick. I've found that this is the most effective way to use this to get your face clean and smooth. Not so much soft...maybe just a teeny tiny bit, but it will leave your face clean and very smooth like glass. Not the most hydrating cleanser, which is probably why it doesn't leave your face as soft, but it's not drying either.

While it does have beautiful packaging and smells nice, if I could I would return it...especially that whip maker since I have absolutely no use for it. I have so many other cleansers waiting to be tried and tested and cleansers that I love and actually want to use, but I waited so long to try this out I think I'm well past the return date on this. Since it's not terrible and I don't want to be wasteful I will definitely continue to incorporate and use up this cleanser using the third method, but I have no idea what to do with the whip maker...which by the way not that it's hard to use, mechanically it's very simple to operate, but it just creates more work. It doesn't add a fun skintertainment element to the cleansing process it just creates unnecessary extra work.

To bring this to a close, if you're looking for an awesome cleanser I would pass on this one. Instead, if you want a similar nice creamy whipped-like textured cleanser that is awesome and effective I would recommend the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleanser: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/01/innisfree_30.html. I LOVE that one and it's soooooo much better than this one in my opinion.

Nooni Skin Pack Sheet

***As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.***

Size: 60 pieces
Nooni's Skin Pack Sheets are an innovative non-irritating natural plant fiber pad that only requires half the amount toner for double the impact! The fiber sticks to your skin, which is a great way to create your own sheet masks with your favorite toner.

MEMETIP: Use different toners for the skin pack sheets based on different trouble spots on your face. T-zone is usually oilier than the rest of your face, we recommend using the Nooni Sprout Toner for oily spots and Nooni Seed Essence for dry patches.

HOW TO USE
1. Cleanse face
2. Apply a small amount of toner on to the Nooni Skin Pack Sheet
3. Gently wipe to moisturize/cleanse your face
4.For DIY Sheet Mask: Apply a generous amount of toner to Nooni Skin Pack Sheet and leave on the trouble spots. (The special fiber will stick to your face!)

VERDICT
These are really nice to use when creating your own makeshift sheet mask. These are very thin yet absorbent and stick to the face really well. Just soak as many pads as you need with the toner/essence/serum of your choice and just stick it on your face. The shape of these do help to fit the contours of the face a lot better as well...the rounded edges fit the face a lot better than if it were to have been just a straight edge.

I used these with my Missha First Treatment Essence and it was awesome. I don't feel the need to constantly shovel out $7 for another Missha First Treatment Sheet Mask because I can just make my own with these.

If you want to do makeshift DIY masks or spot treat your face with your favorite toner/essence/serum than definitely check these out...but if you're just looking for a good cotton pad than these are not for you as these are meant to be used as a pack sheet.

Nooni Seed Essence Toner

Size: 350 ml

Just like the water you drink, the water your put on your skin matters (especially when it takes up most of the product!) "Good Water, Good Skin" is a simple philosophy that inspires our in-house skincare brand Nooni to create water-conscious products that your skin will love.

Nooni Spring Water Seed Essence Toner is made with naturally carbonated spring water from Chojungri, Chungju of South Korea. Rich in minerals, this nourishing water is known as "the magical water of Asia".

Seed Essence Toner feautres a lightweight gel-like formula that treats and hydrates like essence and refreshes like toner. Using a hydrating toner like this puts your skin in optimal condition for the rest of your skincare routine.

Fortifies the protective barrier and nourishes with a powerful blend of Quinoa Seeds and Tea Seeds

Olive Oil creates a moisture barrier that protects the skin

Recommended for all skin types, especially dry skin

Free of Alcohol to be suitable for sensitive skin

HOW TO USE
After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount onto hands and gently pat until absorbed.

#memetip: We recommend applying directly with your hands because the natural temperature of your hands help maximize absorption. If you have tight, dry winter skin, try layering several layers to boost moisture levels. This toner comes in a jumbo size of 350ml, so use generously! Use on dry hair or all over the body after shower to restore lost moisture.

INGREDIENTS
Water, Propanediol, Glycerin, INCI(X) Carbonated Water, PEG-8, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis Seed Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Carbomer, Tromethamine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

VERDICT
I got a sample size of this product to try and I gotta say I really like it and want to buy the full size. This is definitely a hydrating toner that just sinks right into the skin and leaves it feeling soft and supple with a nice layer of hydration. Even though this is a toner this performs and feels much like an essence, so I think it's very appropriate and spot on that they refer to this as an essence toner.

I don't know if it's because I have combo skin, but I think I want to use this in conjunction with the smoothing toner. I just get this feeling that it would be an amazing combination of products to use for my skin. I think using the smoothing toner first to exfoliate and get rid of the dead cells and then going in with this seed essence toner to hydrate will be magical for my skin. I will definitely have to give that a go and update you guys.

Even though both products are toners and the idea of using two toners in a row is a bit unconventional and odd, they both perform so differently and address different concerns I feel like it will have a magically symbiotic relationship.

UPDATE: So I did end up purchasing a full sized bottle and I'm glad I did. I love this hydrating essence toner. It feels so nice on the skin and it provides that extra layer of moisture without weighing you down...and using it in conjunction with the Smoothing Toner has worked out really well like I thought it would. The smoothing toner smooths out the skin and this hydrating essence toner gives that nice boost of hydration leaving my skin really nice and hydrated and smooth and supple and glowy all on it's own. My face just looks healthy and nice and radiant.

Also, now that it's summer and HOT (it hit 112 degrees this past weekend) I've been getting lazy with the skincare and moisturizing, but this does the trick to keep my skin nice and on point. When I'm feeling super lazy I'll just rinse my face, swipe my face with the smoothing toner, then slap this baby on and I'm done. Since it's the summer and I don't need as much moisture I feel like this is sufficient enough for me on those lazy days.

INGREDIENTS

VERDICT
Great cleansing water. I love that it doesn't irritate my eyes, yet still does a great job of removing my eye makeup. I have VERY sensitive eyes, so I'm really happy that I finally found a product that is non-irritating, easy and effective at getting rid of my eye makeup. I initially got a sample size of this, but I liked it so much I ended up purchasing a full sized bottle. Also, how simple, elegant and beautiful is this packaging? I love it.

Nooni Spring Water Sprout Smoothing Toner

Size: 350 ml

HOW TO USE
After cleansing, saturate cotton pads and gently wipe away dead skin cells and impurities.

#memetip: Using your middle finger to hold the moist cotton pad reduces friction between your cotton pad and skin. This toner comes in a jumbo size of 350ml, so use generously! Use it on other rough areas such as your elbows and feet.

INGREDIENTS
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Carbonated Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Nelumbo Nucifera Seed Extract, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Extract, Adansonia Digitata Leaf Extract, Brassica Campestris (Rapeseed) Sprout Extract, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Sprout Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Seed Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sprout Extract, Magnolia Kobus Bark Extract, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Citric Acid, Lactic Acid, Malic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Pyruvic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Salicylic Acid, Menthoxypropanediol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Urea, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

VERDICT
Smoothing is right. This toner is potent, but in a good way. Gentle enough to use on my face, but still strong enough to demolish the dry rough patches on my elbows which have always been a trouble spot for me. I know that when I use this it is going to get every last trace of dead/old/dry skin off my face/body all the while keeping my skin nice and hydrated. This has definitely become a staple in my evening skincare because I know it will do an amazing job of prepping my skin for all the skincare goodies that I'll be using afterwards. Also, its got beautiful packaging.
