Old Navy had a 50% off the entire store sale recently, so I went a little crazy. Originally I was just gonna get some sports bras since I'm working out a lot lately, and I did get a bunch of much needed sports bras, but I got a lot of other stuff too...but I did get some gifts as well, so it's not all for me...but, there I go making excuses.
Holiday shopping is like my kryptonite. I always end up spending so much money during the holidays. Anywho, I did get 3 of the items already, but the rest...who knows when I'll get them. I got an order status email from Old Navy saying...
"Due to unexpected issues, we're unable to ship your order within the time frame promised. We apologize for the delay. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we're making every effort to ship your package as soon as possible.
As soon as your order is ready, we'll expedite shipping at no additional cost and email your tracking information. Please note your package may already have shipped by the time you receive this message. The maximum anticipated delay is 30 days from your order date."
Fingers crossed that it does not take 30 days because I'm really excited for and want my stuff.
UPDATE - NOVEMBER 17TH, 2018
Ugh...it's been 2 weeks since I put in my order, which the majority of it still hasn't shipped, and I woke up this morning to find 3 separate emails each telling me about how different parts of my order have been cancelled because they are "no longer available". WTF! I am so annoyed right now. First world problems I know, but I'm still super annoyed. I don't know if it's because I feel crappy and don't feel well to begin with, but get ready for some major ranting.
If the product was out of stock then why let me order it? There were other things on the site that I wanted to get, but I couldn't because they were out of stock, so why weren't these labeled as being out of stock? Why did you allowed me to put it in my cart and then subsequently check out? If it ran out while it was sitting in my cart then you should have told me when I went to check out. You should have told me that the product was no longer available like Sephora does. I'll have stuff in my cart, but then by the time I go to check out Sephora will tell me if a product has gone out of stock while it was sitting in my cart and then remove it from my order.
How are you going to wait and then come back to me 2 weeks after I've completed my order to tell me your cancelling chunks of my order?! Which btw...my order was supposed to be delivered 5-7 business days from when I put in my order and it's now two weeks later and the majority of my order still hasn't shipped. I got 3 of my items, but where's the rest? When they initially emailed me and told me that my shipment was going to be delayed, I was like fine whatever as long as I get my order fine...but now, now I'm just annoyed and want my stuff. What's even more annoying is that I didn't just buy things for myself, but I had picked out and ordered presents that I wanted to give. Again, I know it's not a big deal and I'm sure I can find PJ's and sherpa lined socks pretty much anywhere, but still. So annoying.
First I find out my order's delayed, then I find out they're cancelling parts of my order...oh and as a consolation for all the troubles...they're giving me a code for 10% off a new order. Really? 10%? What kind of consolation prize is that? You just want me to spend more money on your company is what it is...you're basically wanting to make up for the money you lost not being able to fulfill my full order and also squeeze more money out of me by having me put in a new order because let's be honest...10% is not going to do much other than cover the taxes for a new order...that's it, which is not really much of a discount and if I'm ordering online and want free shipping then I'm going to have to order a certain amount, so...no, no thank you. You can keep your 10% discount and I'll keep my money...unless you want to offer me a 60% off discount. The original sale of 50% off the whole store + 10% for my troubles.
Anywho, I was just super annoyed and wanted to vent. It's one thing if they cancelled one item, but for them to seriously delay my order and then cancel multiple items...it just really got under my skin, but that's enough venting for now. I guess what's left of my order will get to me whenever it decides to come...but at this point, I'm guessing they're going to take the full 30 days to ship out my order. Why even have a sale you're not equipped to handle? It's not even Black Friday yet. How are you going to mess up already? Ok, now I'm really done. Sorry, for all the negative ranting. I'm done now.
Thanks for hearing me out...and as a last note, this doesn't mean I'm never going to buy anything from them ever again. I've been ordering from Old Navy for over a decade and have never had any issues, so I'm not going to hold this against them especially since I'm sure running a huge business is not easy and shit happens in life...things happen, but I was just in a mood today.

Yes, I am overweight, but this makes me look even bigger than I already am...it definitely is very puffy. I mean it's in the name...it's a puffer jacket, so I don't know what I was expecting. THOUGHTS: These are nothing like "walking on fluffy little clouds". When I saw that the insoles were made with memory foam, I thought they were going to be like my Skechers sneakers, which are also made with memory foam and super cushiony and comfy, so I got them, but I feel like there's no memory foam in the shoes at all...in fact there doesn't seem to be any cushioning at all.
I don't know where they're getting their "feels like walking on fluffy little clouds" description from because it is totally inaccurate in my experience. I don't know if I just got a dud or what, but mine feel like there is no cushioning. They are glittery and cute though, so I'm going to keep them and just buy some cushiony insoles for them because I do still want to wear them. If you didn't already know...I LOVE sparkly things and these are super glittery and cute yet understated enough for everyday wear.
