THOUGHTS
October 20th, 2018: OMG I love the scent of this. It smells just like a ripe papaya...and I LOVE papaya. I am originally from Hawaii and I spent my youth eating yummy delicious papaya all the time and I miss it so much...papaya you get on the mainland (aka contiguous states) is nowhere near as good as papaya from Hawaii. Mango is more forgiving...forgiving as in it still doesn't taste nearly as good as it does straight from Hawaii, but still good enough to eat, but Papaya...I've stopped eating it because it's just not the same. It's so expensive and it's nowhere near as good, so I've just given up on it, but I digress.
Anywho, despite the amazing scent, the formula itself was not that great. It wasn't horrible...it's still better than the Drybar conditioner that I tried: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2018/09/drybar-hair.html, but it wasn't great either. I didn't try it as a leave-in treatment, but I did try it as both a mask and conditioner and both times it was mediocre at best. It did not leave me with the silky soft and smooth and hydrated locks that I want and look for in a mask or conditioner. Definitely didn't give me the soft, smooth and damage repaired hair that it claims. Instead my hair was left looking frizzier and drier than normal. So despite the amazing scent, I'm gonna have to say this is a pass for me.
