THOUGHTS
February 26th, 2017: If you are as sensitive to fragrances/scents as I am then STAY AWAY! Actually, even if you're not that sensitive...unless you are immune to scents, I would say stay away.
OMG, this has such a terrible perfume-y overpowering scent...I was so tempted to wash this off, but I didn't want to wash my face and redo my morning skincare all over again, so I don't know what I was thinking but I decided it would be better to just suffer through my day with this on rather than wash if off...and when I say suffer, I really mean suffer. I was soooooo unbelievably miserable all day long and it ended up giving me such a terrible headache. I could not wait to end my day, wash this off, pop some tylenol and just go to bed. The scent was that bad. I totally should've just washed it off and used a couple multi-tasking products instead...although this stuff lingers, so even when I finally washed it off I still got subtle whiffs of it the rest of the evening. You may think I'm being over dramatic, but the scent was that bad and I was that miserable.

On top of that, this product wasn't even all that great. It's a really pretty shimmery pink cream that feels like a lotion, so despite the scent I thought it would actually be a really nice hydrating primer, but once you work it into the skin it's actually not that hydrating. It tricks you into thinking that it might be, but once it sinks into the skin not so much. I mean it does provide a little bit of moisture, but very little. Also, while this does have super fine teeny tiny glitter particles in it and is pink, this did not give me the beautiful bright radiant glow that I was hoping it would.
It's got that same pearly pink cream formula that my Enprani Tone Up Cream and my Origins Gin-zing Eye Cream (both of which I LOVE), so I was hoping it would provide the same beautiful brightening radiant glow, but this one sort of fell flat. It was almost like the glitters in this cream were too teeny tiny and fine to properly reflect the light. I honestly could't really tell much of a difference between before applying and after applying. At most it gives you a SUPER subtle barely there glow.
I will most definitely be returning this product back to Memebox. This gets a huge DO NOT BUY recommendation from me. If the product was good then I would say if you can handle the smell get it, but even aside from the scent the product itself is just not that great so this was just an all around fail for me.
The thing I liked most, or rather the only thing I liked about this product was the packaging. I think it's packaged in a really pretty bottle, but that's about it...although somehow this managed to get a 4.5 out 5 star rating on the Memebox website, which left me scratching my head as to how this could possibly get such a high rating. I know everyone's skin is different and what works for one person may not work for another and we all have different expectations and reactions and interpretations, but I still don't get it. I did see that there were a few reviews that thought it was terrible like me, so I know I'm not crazy, but I guess I'm just in the minority about this product so I just wanted to put that out there...but if you're looking for the Ahnspired stamp of approval, sadly this product does not get one.
