Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

Size: 1.8 oz or 4 oz
A dry shampoo that absorbs oil, sweat, and odor for ultra-clean hair, plus a time-release fragrance that delivers a light, clean scent all day.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo contains fast-absorbing powders that soak up oil and sweat. Great for all hair types and colors, a patented OFPMA molecule reduces the surface friction on hair—leaving virtually no visible residue or powdery build-up—making it easy to remove the powder. Odor neutralizers eliminate unwanted smells, and a time-release fragrance releases a light, refreshing, long-lasting scent.
HOW TO USE
Shake well. Hold canister six to 10 inches away from dry hair, then apply section by section in a sweeping motion to dirty or oily areas. Wait 30 seconds for powders to activate and cleanse, then remove them by massaging your hair with your fingers, or brushing your hair. Apply more if needed (just make sure to shake the can again).
See white residue? A little residue that can be easily removed is expected (that’s the cleaning in the works). If you experience more than that, make sure you shake the can and hold it farther from your head. Use a bristle brush and/or blow dryer to remove visible powders.
Precautions: Extremely flammable, Avoid spraying near eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water, External use only.

VERDICT
This is a pass for me. Yes, it does get rid of all the oil, sweat, and odor but it leaves behind a very powdery residue that I hate and that residue leaves my hair sticky...sticky as in I can't run my fingers through my hair and it gets stuck sticky...like if you had sprayed a crap ton of hair spray into your hair.
Now if you're someone that loves or doesn't mind having lots of texture and grit to their hair then you'll probably like this because it does get your hair "clean", but I personally do not...especially to this degree. I'm more of a soft and silky run my fingers through my hair type of gal so I can't stand the sticky powdery texture that it leaves behind. Also, because I have such fine hair, I feel like all that powdery residue kinda sort of weighs my hair down a little bit.
Ok enough complaining about the residue...when you spray this into your hair it is VERY white and does take some doing to get rid of the white cast, but it does eventually go away with some very vigorous massaging and hair brushing. As for the scent, it does smell nice. Like the description states, it is a light clean scent but regardless the scent isn't very strong so not a big deal either way. The description does say that it time-releases fragrance, but I honestly couldn't smell it in my hair at all except for when I messed with it.
If you're someone like me who hates the powdery residue, but still wants a nice dry shampoo to try then I would recommend the Amika dry shampoo: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/09/amika-haircare.html.
