amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

Size: 1 oz or 5.3 oz
A dry shampoo that absorbs oil, creates volume, and refreshes hair between shampoos, minus the chalky residue.

The amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo contains the lightweight natural rice starch to absorb excess oil and dirt that weighs hair down. The lightweight, cleansing formula creates texture, adds volume, and deodorizes to refresh hair between shampoos.

Whether you’re in need of a quick no-wash cleanse or an extra boost of volume, a swift mist of this obliphica-infused formula leaves hair instantaneously soft and refreshed, while a spray to the roots adds instant amplification. Apply before bed to beat greasiness to the punch, and extend that coveted “just left the salon” look for days.

THOUGHTS
September 1st, 2016: I'm not generally a fan of dry shampoo's...I hate the powdery texture that dry shampoo's leave behind. I love and am a fan of the silky soft freshly washed hair texture, so I generally just try to wash my hair more often than resorting to using dry shampoo's but I do use them once in a while and I've come to find that I actually like this one. Of the many that I've tried this is definitely my favorite. This leaves my hair feeling the most natural and not powdery feeling whilst still dealing with the oil and grease in my roots.

Just like the description says, it really is a lightweight spray that is moisturizing and leaves the hair feeling softer which is why I like this one over the other more powdery feeling ones. It might not get it as "squeaky clean" as some of the other more powdery dry shampoo's but it still does a great job and I would rather have a little less squeaky clean in exchange for softer feeling hydrated hair. It doesn't leave a white cast either which is nice.

As for strengthening the hair and repairing split ends...I'm not sure about that as I don't use this on a regular basis, but if you're someone like me that hates that powdery dry shampoo texture I would recommend giving this one a try.
