VERDICT
This is a nice mask. Nothing spectacular, but nice. It's a pretty, sheer ruby red hydrogel mask with finely milled flecks that sparkle and shimmer. Fit wise, it falls a little bit short width-wise, but it's a pretty standard fit and the eye and mouth holes are a good size. Very slippery when applying, but once it's on it sticks to the face very well. I did some light jogging in place with this on and it didn't slip or budge at all.

It was extremely cooling and refreshing while on the face, and once I removed it the leftover serum sank in nicely and wasn't sticky or tacky. It was hydrating and definitely did give me a "healthy gloss" like it states in the description, initially, but that did slowly fade. After about 30 min. or so that "healthy gloss" faded into a really beautiful soft diffused satin-y glow which was nice. As far as the whole leaves your skin "fair and rosy white" I didn't really notice any calming of redness and brightening of my face.

Even though this gives you a wonderfully soft and diffused satin-y glow, I wouldn't use this before applying makeup. It doesn't seem to layer very well. When I went to layer the rest of my skincare on top of this, gel residue started to ball up and rub off so I imagine it would suck to try and apply face makeup on top of this. I was just layering on the rest of my evening skincare so it wasn't that big of deal for me, but I probably would've been annoyed had it been the morning and I was trying to apply my BB cream.

Do I think it's necessarily worth $4? No, but if you can find it on sale for $1 it's not a bad sheet mask. It's pretty to look at, hydrates, and does give you a nice soft glow. That said, would I ever repurchase this if I did find it on sale for $1? No, but if someone offered it to me would I use it? Sure. I know that's kind of wishy washy stance, but that's just how I feel about this sheet mask. I wouldn't go out of my way or take the time to buy this, but if one presented itself to me I would use it. It's not bad, but it's not amazing, but it's not simply average either because I do really love the soft diffused glow it ends up giving me...but not enough to make me really want and love this sheet mask. Hopefully that makes sense and is helpful to you in some way.

VERDICT
This is a refreshing and lightweight clear gel that sinks into the skin nicely. Not sticky or tacky and it doesn't even feel like you have anything on your face...aside from the lingering scent, which isn't too bad. It is a teeny bit strong, but it's not a terrible scent...it's like an aloe vera nature-y scent.

Not super moisturizing, so I don't think it'll be strong enough for the winter but this would be great for the summer; especially for those of you who live in super hot and/or humid environments, and for people with oily or acne prone skin. Like I said, it's not the most moisturizing formula, but you don't need as much moisture care during the summer (compared to the winter) so I'm happy to trade off a little less moisture for a super lightweight cream. Also, this leaves your skin with a bit of a glow which just makes it look healthy and vibrant which I love.
