Sephora VIB Sale (Wishlist)

Hi Guys!
So...I know I said I was on a no buy until I make a nice dent in my sheet mask collection, but...the Sephora VIB sale is happening this week, Black Friday is not that far off and the holiday season is fast approaching. I mean I'll be good in the meantime, but I can't pass up the Sephora VIB sale and well Black Friday only happens once a year, so yeah...get ready for some hauls.

Honestly though, I haven't really been buying that much this year. I mean it's been awhile since I last did a haul...I think it was in the spring? I know. Me and my excuses. Anywho, I don't know what exactly I will end up getting and obviously it would be crazy to get everything I wanted (I'm just not that rich to be doing so), but I figured I would share my Sephora wishlist with you guys...and if you see this post in time, help me narrow down my choices.

I plan to make my purchase on Friday 11/10 or Saturday 11/11, so if you see this post before then, leave me a comment down below which of these you think I should get. Also, are any of you excited for the sale? Will you also be taking part? If so, also share in the comments below what you plan on purchasing, or have already purchased. I would love to know.

Oh, and if you're shopping online like I am, don't forget to use Ebates to make your purchases. This is not a sponsored post or anything like that, they have no idea who I am, but I do just genuinely love using them to shop online because I get a percentage of my purchases back in cash, meaning I'm saving even more money, and who doesn't love saving money, right? It's super simple to sign up and use, so I definitely recommend checking it out.

Like I already said, this not a sponsored post or anything like that, but I do have a referral link (a standard referral link they give to everyone who uses them, you will get one as well if you sign up). It will get you $10 cash back to start and me $25 for the referral, so if you'd like to get $10 and also help a girl out I would greatly appreciate you using this link to sign up: https://www.ebates.com/r/AHNINS2?eeid=28187, BUT if you're not comfortable with that, that's totally fine and understandable and you can totally just go straight to their website here: https://www.ebates.com/index.htm to sign up.

One tip though...don't have multiple windows open when checking out or it might not go through. That happened to me a couple times when I first started using it, which was a total bummer because I missed out on some nice cash back opportunities, so once you're ready to check out, just close any extraneous windows and once you just have your cart open, activate Ebates at that time and just use that one window to check out.

Now on to my wishlist! My very long extensive wishlist that still doesn't cover everything I want...

AMIKA Polished Perfection Mini Straightening Brush

WHY: This isn't something that was not on my radar, but rather something I happened upon browsing through the Sephora website, and I was really drawn to it. I'm kind of getting sick and tired of using a straightener, so having the option to straighten my hair while just simply brushing it is really appealing...and I feel like since I'm not flat ironing, but rather brushing, it will maybe straighten whilst maintaining as much volume as possible? Since I'm not squishing my hair between two hot plates? And of course it also claims to preserve moisture for healthy hair and leave it silky smooth and shiny, so I'm all about that healthy, smooth and shiny hair life.

There is a normal full sized straightening brush which is $120, which is pretty expensive, so I'm glad they have this mini version which is much cheaper. Judging from the reviews it appears that the mini may not be as great as the full sized version, especially since you can't control the temperature on the mini version like you can on the full sized version, but I don't have thick curly hair or anything like that, so I think this will be fine for me.

While I didn't read every single review posted, the ones that I did peruse I found that people with wavy hair did seem to like it and it was those with thicker curly hair that didn't find it to be as strong/hot and good as the full sized, so I think the mini version will be fine for me. My hair is just a bit wavy, so I don't need anything heavy duty and since this is smaller and compact that means this will be travel friendly, which I like and prefer over a bigger bulkier hair tool.

I'm pretty sure, like 99% sure, I will be purchasing this, so hopefully it works out for me as I envision it to and I love the results...and can retire my hair straightener.

BELIF Holly Jolly Hydration Set

WHY: I got a holiday gift set of Belif products last year (which I still haven't put up a review of, but it is coming) and I loved the True Cream Aqua Bomb that was in there. I thought this set had the full sized Aqua Bomb, but it's actually a full size of the other one, the True Cream Moisturizing Bomb, which I haven't tried.

I wish it was a set including the full size of the Aqua Bomb, but I figured why not try the Moisturizing Bomb. This too has great reviews just like the Aqua Bomb and it's winter, so I figure now's the time to try the more heavy duty version. Plus, this also contains a deluxe sample of the expensive Hungarian Water Essence that I enjoyed and a nice sample of another of their eye creams that I haven't tried...and also, of course, it's got cute holiday packaging, so yeah...that's why I want it.

BELIF Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate

WHY: I like the brand, I like the packaging and it has the word "miracle" in it. Anything that claims to be a miracle, I'm going to want to try...but it's pricey...like real pricey...like $60 for just 1oz of product pricey.

BELIF The True Cream Aqua Bomb

WHY: Like I said above, I really enjoyed the Aqua Bomb that was included in my Belif set from last year and I want a full size of it to use. However, Sephora's VIB sale happens twice a year, so I may just wait until the Spring sale to get this since I think this is better suited for the hotter summer months (again full review is forthcoming).

P.S. I would also get a full size of the Hungarian Water Essence, as spoiler alert I loved that as well, but it's expensive...$42 for just 75ml of product, which is half the size of a normal essence, although it does kind of act like a hybrid essence/serum and serums tends to be more expensive for less product, but I don't know. I do love it though...although the fact that I'm on the fence about it because of the price probably indicates that while I love it I don't love it enough. Have you guys tried the Hungarian Water Essence? Do you think it's worth the price?

DIOR Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm in Berry

WHY: I have been eyeing this product for a long while now, but haven't bought one because it's pricey...but I think I might finally go through with it and get one...in the shade Berry because I love berry shades...and if I'm gonna spend that much money on a lip balm I want one that's a little more noticeable and pigmented...even though it's just a sheer tint of color, the berry will probably be more apparent than the other shades. Also, it's not like it's an impulse purchase and I've been pinning over this for a couple years now, so I think it's time to just bite the bullet.

DIOR Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced

WHY: A skin perfector that gives you "Dreamskin" that's in pretty pink packaging? Yes, please...but again, so expensive. It's $150 for 1.7oz/50ml of product, so it'll probably be a pass for now but I do really want to try it...at some point.

DR. JART+ Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Re.Pair Serum

WHY: I often get a lot of redness in the cheek area and this is supposed to calm redness, so I would love to try it out and see if it actually works. Plus, I'm drawn to the packaging. I like this cute little green bottle with  a dropper. Also, I love the story behind it...the legend that they share in the product info. To read it, check out the "What else you need to know" section on the link above.

ERBORIAN CC Crème High Definition Radiance Face Cream Skin Perfector

WHY: This is a brand that I've been interested in trying for awhile now, and with words like "skin perfector" and "radiance" in the name, of course I'm naturally going to be drawn to it. Plus I hear good things about this product, so I would love to try it out for myself.

FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

WHY: While watching all the numerous Fenty review videos that poured out on YouTube when the brand first launched, the product that stood out to me the most that I really wanted to try was this Universal Gloss Bomb. The swatches were absolutely beautiful and it just spoke to me. Not that I need any more lip products, but yeah...I really want it...and probably will get it.

GIVENCHY Noir Couture 4 in 1 Mascara
https://go.magik.ly/ml/bujx/

WHY: I'm intrigued and drawn to the unique looking brush on this mascara, and I really want to give it a try...but do I really want to fork over $33 for a mascara? I'm torn.

GLOW RECIPE Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser

WHY: Ever since Glow Recipe launched their own in-house products I've been wanting to try them, and this cleanser seems like an interesting and different/unique product. It's a foaming cleanser, but it can also double as a mask and apparently has this unique bouncy textured formula. I'm intrigued.

GLOW RECIPE Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

WHY: Again, I've been eyeing and wanting to try the new in-house produced Glow Recipe products and so many people seem to love this one...at least that I've heard and I want to try it out for myself as well. It's got cute packaging, apparently it really does smell like watermelon, and apparently it really is an amazing awesome product, so I definitely want to and probably will get this product to try out.

As for whether I get it from Sephora during the VIB sale or Glow Recipe during Black Friday I don't know. Last year, Glow Recipe gave 25% off all their products for Black Friday, so if they were to do that again that would mean 5% off more than the 20% that Sephora gives for the VIB sale, but what if I wait and it's sold out? This thing has sold out so many times on both Glow Recipe and Sephora it's ridiculous. Should I chance it? Although I would be using Ebates with my Sephora purchase so that could potentially even it out...although honestly it could very well sell out on Sephora anyways. Either way I'm going to do my best to get my hands on this one way or another this holiday season.

HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Blush Collection in Mood Exposure

WHY: The only Hourglass product that I've tried is the Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light, which I don't think I've reviewed for you guys yet, but I really do enjoy and love it and Hourglass is known for their powders, so I really want to try one of their blushes as well...and of all the shades that they had, Mood Exposure was the shade that spoke to me the most...at least from what I could tell from the swatches I found online. I do want to try their bronzer and highlighter as well, but I want to try the blush first, then I'll probably try a bronzer next and a highlighter after that.

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

WHY: While I haven't tried this particular product, I do love Laneige and a lot of people love and swear by this lip mask, so I want to give it a go as well...especially now that the cold weather is upon us and my lips are starting to dry out.

LAURA MERCIER Almond Coconut Honey Bath

WHY: Honestly...packaging, and I love almond, coconut and honey. That's it. That's why I want this pricey $45 tub of honey bath.

MILK MAKEUP Matcha Toner

WHY: Milk is another brand that I've been wanting to try, and I'm really intrigued by the concept of this solid toner, which I haven't seen before, so I want to give it a go.

PETER THOMAS ROTH 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Prism Cream

WHY: I love me a nice radiant glow-y face, and this supposedly gives you that healthy beautiful lit from within glow...at least it claims it will, and I want that, so I want to give it a try.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Dark Rainbow Dual Boar Brush
WHY: I have been wanting a dual boar brush for awhile now, though there wasn't any one in particular that I had my eye on, but then I saw this one which is cute and colorful and adorable and compact...so basically I want this because of the packaging.

SK-II Pitera Essence Set

WHY: SK-II is a brand that has been at the top of my wishlist for awhile now, particularly the Facial Treatment Essence (which is the original that spawned dupes like the Missha First Treatment Essence that I absolutely love), but this brand is so expensive I just haven't taken the plunge yet...but then I saw that they had this set.

It's still pricey, so I'm on the fence...but on the one hand, considering how expensive this brand is, this is a great set to dabble my feet in to and try out some of their products (and you do get more than the average deluxe sample size), but on the other hand this set still costs $99!

With the 20% discount though that brings it down to like $79, and with Ebates I will get back a little bit more, so I think I may just bite the bullet and get it to finally try out the original that started it all...but what if I fall madly in love with it? Then I'm going to be hooked on a product that costs $179 for 160ml of product...but I guess that's a problem for my future self and not my present self.

STILA Eye For Elegance Liquid Eye Shadow Set
WHY: These look absolutely gorgeous. The colors all seem to be colors that are up my alley and I love me some metallic and sparkly shine, so I really want this set in my makeup collection, but I don't know that I wear makeup often enough, and makeup that's not just a neutral "my face but better" makeup look, to make this purchase worthwhile, but I still want it nonetheless. I want that gorgeous metallic sparkle on my eyes!

STILA Written in the Stars Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow Set

WHY: Oh my goodness...sparkles galore. This stuff is blinding, which is exactly how I want my sparkles to be. Don't know how much use I'll get out of such blinding metallic sparkles in my everyday life, but I still want it nonetheless...even more than the shadow set above, which is why this one's definitely going into my cart.

TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

WHY: This is a cult favorite among many...well those that have dry skin, and I love me a nice healthy dewy glow on my face, so I want to experience this for myself. This is pricey though, as is the theme of this wishlist, so I'm glad they have a mini-size that I can try out first. Also, how beautiful and elegant is this packaging.

TOM FORD Radiant Moisture Souffle

WHY: The name drew me in, and the description drew me in even further. This has one of my trigger words "radiant" in it's name and this product sounds like it would be right up my alley, so I really want to give it a try...only it's $98.

I wish there was a mini version of this to try out first, but there isn't so I doubt I'll be getting this, especially if I do end up getting the SK-II set...that's just way too many luxury products to be getting in one sitting, but hopefully sometime down the line in the future I'll get the opportunity to try it...but for now I'll just have to continue pinning after it for who knows how long.

TOUCH IN SOL Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Double-Ended Eye Set

WHY: I want these for the same reason I want the Stila shadows above. I want these metallic and sparkly shadows on my eyes stat...and considering it's regularly $25 for one duo, this is a great deal to be able to try all 6 duos for just $40.

I think the tubes may be a bit smaller than the regular duos, but not by much. I don't think there's really that much of a difference, but again just like what I said with the Stila set above, I don't know that I wear makeup enough or makeup that's not my usual neutral "my face but better" makeup to justify this purchase even if it is a great deal...but I've had my eyes on these for awhile now...ever since they first launched at Sephora...but I think I'll probably end up getting the Stila set and push this off for a later time. It's too much to get both the Stila sets and this set and I think I'm drawn to the Stila shadows more than these...but let me know in the comments down below, which one you think I should get.

URBAN DECAY Naked Palette

WHY: This is like a staple palette that so many people love and have in their collection, and I want one for myself as well. But do I really need another palette? No, so I will probably hold off for now, but I do want to own one of my own at some point.

YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE Age Prevention Superfood Serum

WHY: I got a set containing a cleanser and moisturizer from Youth To The People last year: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2017/05/youth-to-people-skincare.html that I loved, so I want to check out more from the brand. The cleanser I wasn't a huge fan of until I tried it with my Foreo, and I still feel like it's too expensive for what it is...I feel like cleansers are a product you just don't need or should spend so much money on since they stay on your face for such a short period of time, but the moisturizer I absolutely loved, so I want to try more.

Normally I would gravitate more towards a toner or essence to try, but since they don't have either of those, just a serum, I'm intrigued to try their serum. Also, I love the simple clear cut glass packaging. However, this thing is $62. That's expensive...even with the 20% off that's still expensive, so I don't know...I don't know if I'm ready to take that plunge yet, even though I do really want to try it.

So that's it for now. There's of course more that I would love to buy and try even beyond this list, which doesn't even cover my Korean/Asian beauty wishlist, but this is more than enough products to contemplate about so I'm going to leave it at that.

Stay tuned to see what I actually ended up buying, and again let me know in the comments down below what you think I should get and what you guys got if you also partook in the VIB sale. Until next time...
