GlamGlow Bubblesheet™ Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask

A first-of-its-kind oxygenating deep cleanse mask with Green Tea Teaoxi® that works to reveal glowing skin.

This carbonated fizzy foam mask effectively removes dirt, excess oil, and makeup buildup. The translucent cleanser begins the oxygenating transformation into a face-forming foam cushion and 3-D microbubbles foam in all directions for the ultimate detox. The black bamboo charcoal sheet is infused with a microbubbling cleanser, featuring Green Tea Teaoxi technology and the essential amino acid l-arginine for radiant skin. A subtle tingling sensation awakens the complexion, while fresh citrus invigorates the senses.

HOW TO USE

Dampen face and unfold mask. Place onto the face, aligning with the eyes, nose and mouth area. Smooth all around the face. The oxygenating microbubbles will start to form within 60 seconds. Leave on for approximately 3 minutes. Remove mask and gently massage face with remaining cleansing bubbles. Rinse clean with water.

INGREDIENTS

Water, Glycerin, Methyl Perfluorobutyl Ether, Acrylates Copolymer, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Lauryl Glucoside, Retinyl Palmitate, Allantoin, Arginine, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ceramide Np, Sodium Pca, Sodium Chloride, Saccharide Isomerate, Polyquaternium-10, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Potassium Cocoate, Hexylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Limonene, Citral, Sodium Citrate, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol

THOUGHTS

November 9th, 2018: Meh. I felt very indifferent about this mask, which is not how I should feel after using a pricey $9 sheet mask. If I'm spending that much money on a single use sheet mask that I'm throwing into the trash after a few minutes of use, then I should be super impressed, but I'm not. I can't even say that it's good. Not that it's terrible...it didn't do anything bad to my face, but the problem is that it didn't do anything...at all. It was like it never happened...like I never used it. It did not clean, much less deep clean and it did not reveal glowing skin like it claims above. I didn't even smell the fresh citrus which was supposed to invigorate my senses. I got a big fat nothing.

I will say that I loved the texture of the sheet mask...it's made of that plush velvety soft material that I LOVE for sheet masks, but that's about it in terms of positive things I like about this mask. While it did bubble up, I've definitely tried others that bubble up much more than this did, and I had to wear it for longer than the 3 minutes they tell you to leave it on for, for it to really start to bubble up and for some reason it didn't bubble up in certain spots as you can see in the pic below. I don't know why it didn't bubble up all over uniformly.

Anywho, it just didn't do anything. I had to go in with my normal cleanser after using this because my face did not feel clean at all. It just felt like I rinsed it with water. I mean I'm glad it didn't do anything negative...it didn't irritate my face or make me breakout or anything, so I guess nothing is better than having a bad or adverse reaction, but this was a total waste of time and money and therefore gets a big fat pass from me. If you want a bubble mask that actually works and does something and is much cheaper than the $9 that this one is, then I would suggest Berrisom's Oops Soda Bubble Mask - Poretox: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/11/berrisom-skincare.html. Even though that one doesn't cover the entire face and is only used on the lower half of the face, it is leaps and bounds better than this one.

THOUGHTS

October 19th, 2018: Oh boy, this made me break out so bad...in all fairness though it does warn you that it's not for sensitive skin, but it's a clay mask and I've tried a lot of clay masks and specifically Kaolin clay masks like this one before so I figured I would give it a go anyways...I so regret that.

I had been wearing a lot of makeup lately and my pores felt yucky and like they needed a deep cleaning, so I decided to whip this out to try. Application was fine. It was a thinner liquid-y mud/clay formula, so it spread and applied nicely. It does smell like licorice, which is not my favorite scent, but not a big deal. However, immediately after I had applied it...it started to sting and burn and as time went on it only got worse and worse. It got to a point where I just had to get it off my face. I had it on for about 6-7 minutes before I had to tap out and just go and wash it off my face and my face was not happy. After removing my face was red and splotchy and in an effort to calm it I sprayed on a crap ton of calming and soothing toners and essences and went in with hydrating serums and moisturizers. Despite that the damage had apparently already been done. I woke up the next morning with the worst breakout...which sucked considering how well my skin was doing.

My guess is that my skin did not like all the acids that are in here because as I stated above, I have used a lot of different clay masks before and specifically Kaolin clay masks like this one is before and I've never had this issue...but shame on me for not listening to the products warning...although If you've been reading my blog for awhile now then you know that I'm always confused about whether I have sensitive skin or not. Sometimes I'm afraid it's going to be sensitive and it's resilient and sometimes I think it'll be fine but it's not, so I can never tell, but this time around it very much was sensitive. Uber sensitive, so if you have the slightest inkling that you might have sensitive skin than I would just say stay away...listen to GlamGlow's warning and stay far far away. This is not the product for you.

Oh my goodness, November is right around the corner and holiday sets have been pouring out and I am getting super excited for Black Friday. I've been adding stuff to my carts in preparation and I was going through my emails and found out that Sephora's Holiday Bonus has already started! So I thought I would share with you some of my recommendations and wishlist items.

I myself probably shouldn't go too crazy this year because I do plan on buying myself a BIG...VERY BIG present this year. It's something that' I've been wanting for awhile now (aka the past few years) and after all the health troubles that I had this year I figured it was time to just finally bite the bullet and invest in one and my health...I plan on getting a treadmill for my home and that is no cheap investment, so I shouldn't...nay I CAN'T go crazy this year, but boy are they making it hard.

Although in all honesty, I probably shouldn't be buying anything at all considering how crazy stupid expensive the treadmill that I want is, but let's be real...there's no way I'm not gonna buy anything else, so before I get into the products, here is the Holiday Beauty Insider Bonus schedule...

Rouge: 20% off with code ROUGEBONUS from 10/26/2018 - 10/29/2018

VIB: 20% off with code VIBBONUS from 11/9/2018 - 11/12/2018

Beauty Insiders: 15% off with code BIBONUS from 11/16/2018 - 11/19/2018

Now for my recommendations and wishlist items from Sephora (in alphabetical order of course, as always)...

BELIF Aqua Bomb Mist (Wishlist)

https://go.magik.ly/ml/gs94/

An ultra-fine, soft, and lightweight mist formulated with Aqua Bomb’s lady’s mantle extract and star weed to hydrate skin for a healthy glow without smudging makeup.

This mist spray nozzle and formula are unique because the particles of this spray are smaller than water particles, making it ultra-lightweight and soft. The lightweight mist contains the Aqua Bomb's lady's mantle extract for a burst of hydration and star weed extract for a healthy glow. Not only does the mist balance the skin's oil and water levels (pH-balancing), but the mist container disperses long, ultra-fine mist with a single spray, allowing users to hydrate and add glow to skin without smudging makeup. Add a natural-looking radiance to your skin with the Aqua Bomb Mist.

REASON: I love their Aqua Bomb moisturizer, so when I saw they came out with a mist...I got super excited and immediately placed it into my cart...where it's been patiently sitting waiting for the holiday bonus sale.

BELIF Pore Cleaner Moisturizer (Wishlist)

https://go.magik.ly/ml/gs98/

A translucent, watery-gel moisturizer combining the toner, essence, and moisturizer steps into one to minimize the appearance of pores while reducing sebum production for a clearer, smoother appearance.

Formulated with dandelion root extract, an antioxidant known for its soothing properties and belif's antioxidant-rich sebum control herb complex (rosehip, apple mint, and eucalyptus), this watery-gel moisturizer cleans the pores without stripping the skin of moisture or irritating the skin. Although this is ideal for normal to combination skin types, drier skin types can also incorporate this into your routine by phasing in as necessary when your pores feel clogged with dirt or debris.

REASON: It's a multi-tasking 3-in-1 item, so of course I want to try it. Anything I can find to trim down my skincare routine I'm all for...without compromising the quality of course.

BELIF The True Cream Aqua Bomb (Recommendation)

https://go.magik.ly/ml/gs9d/

An ultra-lightweight, oil-free gel-cream that instantly cools and refreshes skin while providing intensive hydration.

This formula contains a blend of apothecary herbs, including antioxidant-rich lady's mantle which helps neutralize skin-damaging free radicals, improves skin elasticity, and minimizes the appearances of pores. The refreshing cream is formulated to burst when applied, releasing a flood of weightless moisture onto skin for a healthy, smooth, supple appearance.

DYSON Airwrap™ Styler - Smooth & Control (Wishlist)

https://go.magik.ly/ml/gs9r/

A styler that is engineered for multiple hair types and styles, featuring Coanda air styling and propelled by the Dyson digital motor so users can curl, wave, smooth, and dry with no extreme heat.

REASON: Oh my goodness...when I saw that Dyson came out with this I got so excited, but then I was disappointed because it's freaking sold out already! How is this sold out already? It's sooo expensive. I was really hoping to get this with the holiday bonus, but looks like that is not going to happen. They probably won't restock it until after the bonus sale 😢

ERNO LASZLO Detoxifying Double Cleanse Travel Set (Recommendation)

https://go.magik.ly/ml/gtdt/

A luxurious cleansing oil-and-bar duet that promotes skin’s natural detoxification and dissolves trapped oils, impurities, and residue on contact.

The lightweight Detoxifying Double Cleanse Travel Set deeply cleanses to dissolve surface impurities and makeup, even reducing the look of large pores—without leaving skin feeling tight or dry. Detoxifying Cleansing Oil transforms from black to white on contact, where powerhouse cleansing agent charcoal draws out impurities like a magnet. Brimming with sea water and grape seed oil, the formula delivers energizing minerals to combat everyday buildup for a restored, healthier, and younger look. Following the oil cleanse, the Detoxifying Cleansing Bar is a unique blend that works with the oil to fight toxins and promote natural skin exfoliation, cell turnover, and circulation to create a visibly clearer, more balanced, and soothed complexion.

REVIEW: I never did a post on this with my thoughts because I can't remember specifically what it was that I loved about this...all I remember about this product was that it was awesome and I loved it and thought it was totally worth the price tag even though it is stupid expensive...especially if you buy the full sizes of both of these, but this travel set is a great way to try this product out. I don't know why I never jotted down my thoughts on this product, and my memory is not so good due to my hypothyroidism so I have no idea other than the fact that I thought it was awesome...and a great product to get if one was in a splurgy mood.

REVIEW: Again, I thought I had a post up about this with my thoughts, but apparently not. I'll have to get that up for you guys, but in the meantime I love this stuff. This is by far my #1 favorite when it comes to foundations/BB Creams/CC Creams. I love me a dewy illuminated complexion, so I personally go for this pink illuminating tube, but they also have a regular one in a gray tube: https://go.magik.ly/ml/gtez/...that one still has a nice glow-y satin finish, but less illuminating than the pink one. Regardless, both are fantastic.

YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream (Wishlist)

This deeply moisturizing cream is especially good for dry skin types. Adaptogenic herbs and mushrooms calm the skin when faced with daily stressors like UV rays and environmental pollutants. Pentapeptide calms the stress reaction in sensitive and irritated skin.

REASON: I got so excited when I saw this had launched. I've only tried a couple products from this brand, but I LOVE this brand. Their products are stupid expensive, but I love and am drawn to this brand nonetheless. It's definitely my go to splurgy brand...and I was excited to see that they had a moisturizer with adaptogens in it especially after all the research I had been doing earlier this year in relation to my hypothyroidism.

YVES SAINT LAURENT Volupté Tint-in-Balm (Recommendation)
https://go.magik.ly/ml/gtfe/

A hybrid lipstick that combines nourishing balm care with glowing, sheer color for a hint of tint that enhances lip color.

Volupté Tint-in-Balm’s unique, dual formula gives your lips twice the benefits—plus, a signature, pomegranate scent. This lip-shaped core runs from top to bottom, so that it never runs out. The outer core of the lipstick provides a lasting kiss of tint, imparting glowing sheer color that’s both vivid and brilliant.

REVIEW: Stupid expensive and there's no reason to spend this much money on a lip balm, but if you are feeling splurgy than this is a great product...and it's got gorgeous packaging...and it's super cute with the lips in the middle of the bullet...and it's super comfortable and hydrating on the lips and gives you that perfect natural sheer hint of color.

BTW...in case you were curious about the expensive treadmill that I want...

Nordictrack X22i Incline Trainer
https://www.nordictrack.com/treadmills/x22i-incline-trainer

This thing is crazy stupid expensive, and there are of course MUCH cheaper treadmills out there, but this thing looks amazing and I really want it. The biggest reason that I want this particular one though is that it's got the capability of going to a 40% incline. How crazy is that? Not only that, but this thing also even has a 6 % decline. No other treadmill out there...that I know of, has this capability and I love to go hiking, so what better way to train and stay in shape for the trails.

My health kicked me in the butt and sidelined me this past year, and after the year long hiatus (part of which I basically spent in bed hibernating) I would love to have the capability to do steep incline workouts at home to recondition myself for the trails. Not the easy local trails, but like actual harder trails like Angels Landing at Zion Canyon.

Also, I love and am drawn to that huge 22" screen that this has. I feel like it will let me really immerse myself into their iFit Coach workouts, which look awesome and amazing, and therefore really motivate me to actually use the treadmill and workout, so it's a HUGE investment, but I think it will be one that's very worthwhile.
