Goodal (Skincare)
Goodal Phytorain Murumuru Seed Hydra Serum
Size: 45ml
It's all good-al in the hood! We love this hydrating serum for showing us unconditional love, whether our skin's dry or oily, naughty or nice.
A silky smooth serum starring Amazonian Murumuru Seed that helps calm, brighten, and firm up skin. It's also blended with other exotic oils, like the Brazil Nut Seed Oil (Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil), that nourish skin and build a long-lasting moisture barrier. This non-sticky serum absorbs into skin quickly, leaving it clear, hydrated, and ready for your next skincare steps.
HOW TO USE
After cleansing and toning, apply 1 pump of serum evenly all over face and neck. Massage the serum into skin in circular, up and outward motions.
Memetips: You can also add a few drops of the serum into your fave BB cream for a nourishing makeup application.

THOUGHTS
May 27th, 2017: This is a beautiful serum that really does feel very silky soft and smooth as described above. I love the velvety texture of this serum that just glides onto the skin and absorbs quickly and nicely. It's non-sticky non-greasy and very hydrating and moisturizing and nourishing and would be great for anyone whose skin needs the extra moisture.
If you have dry skin and really need as much hydration and moisture as you can get than I think you will really enjoy this as it infuses your skin with a lot of it and definitely does help to build up your moisture barrier, but if you don't need the extra hydration, while it is nice and I do really enjoy this, I would say skip it. It's not necessary.
For me this is a great lazy day product. When I don't want to layer on all my multiple layers of toners/essences (you can learn about the 7 skin method and why I love layering toners/essences here: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2017/03/skincare-tips-how-i-got-over-my-skin.html) then I'll just use one or two and then go in with this and top it off with a moisturizer and I'm good. When I'm not being lazy and I've used all my various multiple layers of toners and essences...now that we're getting into the hotter summer months I sometimes find it a bit much to put this serum on top as well. While it is lightweight and comfortable to have on the skin, I just feel like I'm over hydrated/moisturized if I pile this on top of all the other hydrating toners and essences, so I just use this when I'm lazy or when my skin needs it...not everyday.
Like I said above, if you have dry skin and need the extra moisture than I do recommend giving this a try, but if you don't than I say skip it...especially since it's not a cheap product.

This is a viscous liquid, so I wouldn't use a cotton pad with this. I just went straight in with my hands, which was perfect, and it was really nice and hydrating and felt really good on the skin. This is supposed to be a toner/essence/emulsion all in one product so this covers a lot of bases in just one step which is awesome, and I do feel like it does perform as a toner/essence/emulsion. It's a really nice luxurious feeling product that is very hydrating, and I love it. Also, it has a very mild, but nice scent to it...all three of these do actually.

I'm not usually a fan of eye creams as they tend to make my eyes sting and water for some reason. I don't know what it is, but whenever I use eye creams my eyes start to water after about an hour or so...like seriously water. I have actual tears running down my face.
Sometimes it's just a few tears, sometimes I'm literally crying...why? I'm not entirely sure. For whatever reason eye creams seem to sting and irritate my eyes...I don't even apply them anywhere near my waterline but somehow it seems to make its way to my eye and irritate it. This however, doesn't sting or irritate and hasn't made my eyes water, YAY!!!
Not only does it not irritate or sting, but it's awesome. It's a nice thick cream, but not heavy in the slightest and is super hydrating and nice. It feels so luxurious and moisturizing and just sinks right in.
Also, I always get these deep pillow creases on the side of my left eye/brow in the mornings and ever since I started using this it has been either super super faint or not there at all anymore. It's so hydrating and nice it just plumps up my eye area...enough so that I don't really get creases anymore. I tried skipping this and my creases did come back so I don't think it was coincidence.
Every single night that I've used this it has worked its magic to keep the pillow creases at bay and every night that I haven't it has come back...so this is an awesomely hydrating and plumping eye cream.

This is a VERY thick and emollient cream, which I normally HATE, BUT this cream I actually LOVE. Once it's warmed up between your hands/fingers it just glides on the face beautifully and doesn't feel thick or heavy at all. It feels really nice and extremely hydrating and I was pleasantly surprised at just how much I liked this cream.
It's emollient, but not emollient feeling aka suffocating feeling or anything like that despite my initial reservations because of how thick this cream was coming out of the jar. I think this might just be my newfound HG (aka Holy Grail) winter moisturizer. It's definitely the best, most luxurious feeling, super hydrating yet amazingly lightweight and awesome moisturizer that I've tried so far.
October 30th, 2016 - OVERALL: Goodal is not a super high end brand, but it is a really nice mid-range brand that does have a higher price point, which is why I was excited to see this set and got it to try out first before committing to the full size products, but after trying this set I feel like it's well worth the money in my opinion. I am DEFINITELY picking up full sized bottles of all three of these products.
These are very effective products that feel so nice and luxurious on the skin and because they are meant to be hydrating, and do provide some serious hydration along with bright and radiant skin, this set is great for the wintertime to combat the dry, dull and flaky skin that can happen.
With the holidays coming up, this little set would make an awesome stocking stuffer.
Also, I think it's totally worth it to just take the plunge and buy the full sizes, but if you want to give it a go yourself first before committing to the more expensive full sized products then this would be an awesome kit to get for yourself as well. You won't be disappointed...I actually like these products better than the Missha Time Revolution ampoule and serum. Still love the First Treatment Essence, but I like this skincare routine better than the Missha Time Revolution routine.
