THOUGHTS

June 8th, 2018: Don't know why it took me so long to review this, but this has become a permanent staple in my skincare routine since I first tried this. I LOVE this stuff. Definitely a good reason why it's a best seller and such a cult classic. Still haven't tried the SK-II to compare the two (since this is supposed to be an affordable dupe for that), but considering how much I love this and how great it is I'm in no rush...though I do plan to try it at some point down the line.

Anywho, there have been several incarnations of this throughout the years and I've tried them all (except for the very first original OG), and I've loved every single one, but the newest "intensive moist" is definitely my favorite and definitely lives up to it's name. I honestly thought that they just rebranded the same exact product, but this actually did kick it up a notch in the moisture department. I mean it's not a HUGE difference as this was very hydrating and moisturizing to begin with, but there's still a noticeable boost in comparison to its predecessor...whilst still keeping all the goodness of the original. It kept all the pros, not that there ever was any cons to this product, and just made it even better.

This leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized, soft and smooth and healthy and with a natural lit from within glow. It definitely lives up to it's claims. I love the packaging, I love the formula, I love it's effects...I just love everything about this. I have bought so many countless bottles of this over the years and will continue to do so in the future. Definitely gets a huge stamp of approval from me.

Oh, and I never realized it until now, probably because I generally never bother to read the ingredient lists until I list it for my reviews, but apparently this has dimethicone in it. Just wanted to point that out in case that's an ingredient you are conscious of. I don't particularly care, and there's probably not that much in there since this is 90% fermented yeast and it's listed further down the ingredient list, but at any rate just FYI. It doesn't sway me from continuing to repurchase and use this product, but just thought I would put that out there.

Missha Time Revolution Clear Toner

https://amzn.to/32sRTS9
***As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.***
Size: 250 ml
This fragrance-free toner has a mild formula that cleans the skin of impurities left behind by your cleanser, while gently removing debris and dead skin cells with mild AHA and BHA exfoliators.

The Clear Toner also has Missha's popular fermented yeast extract (saccharomyces ferment filtrate), which helps encourage cellular turnover, promoting clear, bright and even skin tone. Use this toner after your double-cleanse to sweep away remaining impurities while helping your skin absorb the remaining treatments.

HOW TO USE
After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad with the toner and sweep across your skin, or pour a few drops into your hands and pat onto your face. Follow with essence, serum and moisturizer.

INGREDIENTS
Water, Saccharomyces Ferment, Propanediol, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Camellia Oleifera Seed Extract, Gaultheria Procumbens (Wintergreen) Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Cellulose Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid, Lactic Acid, Disodium EDTA, 1,2-Hexanediol, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Malic Acid, Glucose, Acetic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate

THOUGHTS
December 7th, 2016: I really liked this toner. It's like a still effective and good but a little less potent/toned down version of the First Treatment Essence, which eased the transition when I ran out of my third bottle of my FTE and didn't have a backup on hand.

I've been using this as an everyday mist as well as with my skincare routine and it has been doing great...and since it's a lot cheaper for more product than the FTE I don't feel as bad burning through this spritzing it on my face throughout the day as a mist. As an everyday mist this adds a boost of hydration and keeps my skin revitalized, soft, and smooth and nice throughout the day...regardless of whether I'm using it on top of makeup or on my bare face.

Used as a toner during my actual skincare routine, while it does do a nice job and I liked it enough using it on it's own, I found that I really loved this layered with other more viscous and hydrating toners....especially now that we are in the colder winter months. Being the most liquid-y/water-y toner I used this first, then layered Deoproce's Green Tea Total Solution Toner on top of that, and then on top of that layered on Nooni's Seed Essence Toner and while some or all of you might think I'm crazy layering three toners on top of each other the combination of these three together have been awesome. It leaves my skin feeling so nice and clean and prepped and hydrated and satiny soft and smooth and radiant while keeping things super lightweight.

Missha Time Revolution Night Repair New Science Activator Ampoule
https://amzn.to/2YeGkyq
***As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.***
Size: 50 ml
One of Missha's star products, this ampoule helps to give you a dewy, supple and clear complexion. The key ingredient for this anti-aging serum is Bifida Ferment Lysate, a fermented yeast that visibly reduces signs of aging and improves skin elasticity while protecting the skin. Often compared to Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair as its less expensive dupe, this serum has developed a cult following due to its ability to repair and hydrate, giving you luminous smooth and even-toned skin with regular use. The formula may be powerful, but its gentle enough for those with sensitive and acne-prone skin.

HOW TO USE
After cleansing and toning, apply this serum at night after or in place of your essence, before moisturizing. Squirt a half-dropper into the palm of your hand and spread over your skin, patting in to aid absorption.

THOUGHTS
I got this after trying a couple foil samples of this because my skin felt so nice the next morning and I gotta say my skin has greatly improved since I started using this consistently in conjunction with the First Treatment Essence and Immortal Youth Serum.

First of all, the texture of my skin got amazingly soft and smooth as the days wore on and stayed that way with consistent use and my face got less irritated and generally calm even-ing out my skin tone. My skin tends to spontaneously seemingly for no reason get red and splotchy and slightly irritated now and then, but this seemed to calm that down and make it not happen at all really...therefore my skin was more even toned and looked healthier and brighter and more radiant.

Also, I don't know if it was coincidence, but when I was at the top of my A-game using these 3 Missha skincare products consistently every single day without fail no matter what life threw at me...no matter how tired or late my day went (there were nights I was doing skincare at 1AM) I got no pimples or blemishes whatsoever. Not even my hormonal acne. My skin was completely clear and amazing and good the entire month.

Of course I eventually fell off the wagon once I felt I got a good run testing this out and my dedication to using it EVERY single day without fail no matter what waned due to life and trying out other products...some of which irritated my skin or this or that, but that one month where I made sure to really stay on top of my game and test this out to full capacity so I can give a proper review, since this ain't cheap, my skin was GREATLY improved and awesome. I mean...I actually got complimented on my skin.

Now, that being said...if you have oily skin, I don't know that you would enjoy this. If you have dry skin you will love this, but oily skin...umm...I have combo skin during the summer with a really oily t-zone and a dry u-zone and while it was great on the outer perimeter of my face where it's dry, my nose and forehead which are not felt and looked very oily and greasy.

Interestingly, whenever I used my Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub to exfoliate first...those particular days this sunk in SUPER fast and completely and was awesome, but on non-exfoliating days it did sort of sit on top of my t-zone and made it feel a little heavy and greasy and oily and took a while to completely sink in.

Despite that I powered through having had a taste of how soft and smooth my skin was after using those samples and knowing that there was a real potential for this to be awesome and do wonderful things for my skin and found that as I continued to use it, my t-zone got better at absorbing the product...and now that we've transitioned into fall and are going into winter and my t-zone is not so oily and getting dry it's totally fine now, but if you have oily skin keep that in mind. If you think you can tolerate it and power through...totally worth it, and of course if you have dry skin then you will love this.

Missha has semi-annual sales, and Black Friday is coming up if you live in the states, so wait for those sales as these are pricey...not as pricey as super high end brands, but it ain't cheap so even though it is totally worth it and does last you a long while...if you can get it for cheaper on sale why not?

INGREDIENTS
Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Poly (C6-14 Olefin), Dimethicone, Betaine, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Arbutin, Cetearyl Alochol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-40 Stearate, Cyclohexasiloxane, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Cassia Alata Leaf Extract, Resveratrol, Carnosine, Pseudoalteromonas FermentExtract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed SoyProtein, CucumisMelo Fruit Extract, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, PEG-2M, Polysilicone-11, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sorbitan Stearate, Sucrose Distearate, Caprylyl Glycol, Caffeine, Carbomer, Arginine, Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hylauronate, Dispotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Metabisulfite, Butylene Glycol, Lecithin, SH-Decapeptide-9, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Maltodextrin Crosspolymer, Tripeptide-10 citrulline, Tripeptide-1, Triethanolamine, Adenosine, Alcohol Denat, BHT, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

THOUGHTS
As soon as I read the name of this serum, I immediately added it to my cart. Immortal Youth? Umm...yes please. I will definitely take as much immortal youth as I can.

I used this in conjunction with the First Treatment Essence and Night Repair Ampoule and the combination of these three products gave me amazing skin. The texture of my skin got amazingly soft and smooth, the elasticity improved and got a bit firmer, my skin stayed clear and healthy and radiant and bright and the combination of this trio did wonders for me.

This particular product, I feel didn't so much affect the texture of my skin...I attribute that to the Night Repair Ampoule along with the brighter and radiant skin, but this serum was really hydrating and it did improve the elasticity of my skin. That's where it went to work in my opinion. Due to the abundance of moisture it gives, this plumps up your skin and improves the elasticity and firmness.

I agree with the description in that this has a soft satiny texture. It's not thick or super emollient and feels lightweight, but at the same time it can feel a bit heavy...as in suffocating feeling in the t-zone and can look and feel a little greasy as well so if you have oily skin take note. If you have dry skin then you will love this as it gives an abundant amount of hydration, but for those of you with oily skin keep that in mind.

Interestingly, just like the Night Repair Ampoule, when I exfoliate with my Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub first that heavy greasy issue goes away as it quickly and completely sinks in to the skin, and just like the Night Repair Ampoule as you continue to use this over time it does get better at absorbing into the skin. Also just like the Night Repair, now that it's fall and we're transitioning into winter, which means my t-zone is drying out, I don't mind it as much.

Overall, while it did improve the elasticity of my skin and improved the firmness, I don't know that it made a HUGE difference in that department, so the main sell here is how amazingly hydrating this is and that it layers nicely and works beautifully with the other products in the Time Revolution line. The products in this line definitely do a great job of working together and complimenting each other so if you're going to pair it up with the other products that I mentioned then I think it's worth it to pick this up. However, if you're strictly purchasing just this serum...I don't know that it's worth it. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a really nice product, but it is pricey and I feel like this is more of a team player in my opinion than a stand alone star...if that makes sense. Hopefully it does.

Oh, and this contains denatured alcohol and fragrance. It's listed at the end so there's probably just a little bit in there, but nonetheless if you're sensitive or ingredient conscious, FYI.

Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Hydro Gel Mask
https://amzn.to/2JNFHTu
***As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.***
Size: 28 ml
A deeply moisturizing mask soaked with the anti-aging and healing properties of snail mucin. This hydro gel mask enhances absorption to refresh, revitalize, and soothe the skin.

HOW TO USE
Best if used at night before bed. After cleansing and applying toner, remove sheet mask from packaging and place carefully around eyes and nose. Relax for 20 minutes. Remove mask and discard. Follow with essence serum, eye cream, moisturizer, night cream.

INGREDIENTS
Water, Glycerin, Snail Slime Extract, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Carrageenan, Hydrolyzed Baobab Tree Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment, Scutellaria Baicalensis Extract, Green Tea Extract, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Citrus Junos Fruit Extract, Castor Seed Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol , PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate , Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Methyl Paraben, Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomile Flower/Leaf Extract, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxy Ethanol, Propyl Paraben, Perfume

THOUGHTS
This is a nice hydrogel mask. It was SUPER cooling and refreshing on the face...it felt like I had stuck my face into the fridge...even well after removal. The top half stayed put, but the bottom half did slide down a little bit around the mouth so I had to readjust a few times.

Very hydrating and moisturizing and it also left my face soft and smooth, but didn't really notice much else beyond that. My face was a bit red and I had some acne blotches, but there was no noticeable calming or healing properties. Perhaps you need to use continuously for results? But if you're looking for a sheet mask that just provides an abundant amount of hydration than this will provide that for you.

The essence wasn't tacky or sticky, but it did have a...how should I put this...a grip to it? Probably due to the snail mucin. When you run your fingers over your face it doesn't glide, but again not sticky or tacky in the slightest.

Now is it worth the expensive $6 price tag? Umm...I don't think so. I would rather save up a little more money and invest that into a really nice snail cream. One use of this didn't greatly alter or effect my skin...you probably have to use it continuously and that's gonna get real expensive at $6/sheet mask so I would invest in a nice snail mucin skincare product (no recommendations yet, but I did just order a bunch of the Mizon Snail Repair products so we'll see how that goes) and if you need abundant moisture there are other more inexpensive sheet masks that will do the trick.

If you want a hydrating hydrogel mask like this one for half the price then check out Elizavecca's Water Lock Hydrogel Melting Mask: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/01/elizavecca.html which is nice or if you don't care about the hydrogel material then Banobagi's Vita Genic Hydrating Jelly Mask: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/05/banobagi.html which is made of a cotton material is awesome as well.

Missha Speedy Solution Anti Trouble Patch
https://amzn.to/2YaqNzJ

***As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.***

Size: One package includes 80 clear circular patches in a variety of sizes
This is your Band-Aid for zits. Missha’s ingenious clear patch acne treatments cut the lifeline of pimples. The anti-inflammatory ingredients (salicylic acid and tea tree oil) reduce redness and speed up the recovery process. The patches also protect from bacteria and fidgety fingers.

HOW TO USE
For best results, cleanse face, follow with toner. Next, apply one patch per blemish. Proceed with rest of skincare routine, avoiding immediate area with patch. Now, get a good night’s rest and peel off patch(es) in the AM!

INGREDIENTS
Acrylates Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Water, Alcohol Denat, Sodium Hyaluronate, Salicylic Acid, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Allantoin, Phytosphingosine, Polysorbate 80, Methylparaben

THOUGHTS
I love how super thin these patches are, however they are very plastic-y feeling and therefore "cheap" feeling and it only comes in 2 sizes (medium & large). However, you do get more bang for your buck as you get 80 patches for only $5 compared to the 24 that CosRx gives you and I do feel like they camouflage a teeny bit better then the CosRx as these are completely transparent...however they're still not completely invisible.

As for the actual performance, these patches work well overall but excel in dealing with those red painful cystic acne-like bumps. That is where these patches shine. It really works quickly and efficiently to reduce the bump and redness and calm the blemish down. The potent combination of salicylic acid and tea tree oil really does seem to work wonders on those super annoying, painful, takes forever to go away cystic acne-like bumps so if that's the type of acne/blemish that you need to combat then this is definitely the patch for you.

INGREDIENTS
Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Saccharomyces/Ginseng Ferment Filtrate, Propandiol, Glycyrrhiza (Licorice) Root Extract, Nyacinnamide, Bipida Ferment Lysate, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Betaine, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Beet Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomile Flower Extract, Cornus Officinalis Extract, Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Bamboo Tree Extract, Cassia Alata Leaf Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Triethylhexanoin, Penylene Glycol, Glycerin, PEG-0 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Raffinose, Polyquaternium-51, Water, Tromethamine, Lactobacillus Ferment, Adenosine, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Acetic Acid, Lactic Acid, 1,2-Hexandiol, Phenoxy Ethanol

THOUGHTS
A lot of people rave about this product...well the original non-mist version (don't know if there's a difference in potency or in general between the mist and non-mist versions), so I wanted to give it a go myself, but being lazy and wanting a more quick and easy delivery system that allows me to avoid using my hands as much as possible I got the mist version. Regardless, after giving it a try I have to say there's a reason for the hype. This really is an amazing product.

It gives you that extra edge to take your skin to the next level. It's like when you go on a diet and you lose weight and everything is going great until you hit that wall and then you have to figure out a way to step it up and power through the wall? This is like that extra push to pummel through the proverbial wall.

A lot of the other products I've been using have been great and doing great things for my skin, but I feel like once I added this product to the mix it just took my skin to the next level. My skin has gotten so smooth like glass it looks like I have an intense highlight going, but in reality it's just my skin (my non-greasy non-oily matte skin) which has gotten so smooth it reflects light like a mirror. It's crazy. My skin just looks so healthy and glowy and bright and youthful.

If you haven't tried this yet I would definitely recommend giving it a go. It is a bit pricier, but totally worth it and compared to the SK-II First Treatment Essence, which this is suppose to be a dupe of, it's not too bad. Plus, you can find it for cheaper during sales or on Amazon or Ebay so definitely shop around and price compare.

UPDATE - JUNE 8th, 2018: Still haven't tried SK-II yet, but I have tried the original bottled Missha First Treatment Essence and I do feel like there is a difference. This being the mist version is definitely more of a booster mist throughout the day, while the non-mist version in the bottle is more heavy duty use in your actual skincare routine. Both are great, but there definitely is a difference...not that you couldn't use the mist as part of your skincare routine if you wanted, but it's much better suited to be used as a booster throughout the day whereas the bottled version definitely is more potent and better suited for your actual skincare routine.

Missha Wrapping Coat Spray Mask - Honey
Size: 100 ml
Say goodbye to wash off and peel off masks! Missha Wrapping Coat Spray Mask in Honey is a spray mask containing Manuka Honey that gives skin moisture and a glow while providing anti wrinkle benefits.

HOW TO USE
After toning, hold bottle 10 cm away from face and spray desired amount, roughly 8-10 times. Leave until completely absorbed 3-5 minutes. No additional washing required. (Do not shake. Do not apply before or after makeup application.)

INGREDIENTS
Water, Honey, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Opuntia Ficus-indica Flower Extract, Gellan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Adenosine, Calcium Lactate, Sodium Citrate, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Ethylhexylgylcerin, Fragrance, Adenium Obesum Leaf Extract, Birch Sap

THOUGHTS
This is a lazy person's dream product. Literally all you have to do is spray this on your face and you're done. This is even faster and easier than slapping on a sheet mask. Just spritz, spritz, spritz, tap, tap, tap and voila! Healthy, hydrated and soft skin. I love it!

I use these on super lazy days when I just can't be bothered to do anything, or when I'm so tired I'm about to pass out right then and there but I'm like no must do something and I quickly douse some of my Son & Park Beauty Water on a cotton pad to swipe over my face than spritz this on my face and call it a day, or on those random days when I end up taking a shower during the middle of the day and I've washed off my morning skincare but I'm not quite ready to do my evening skincare then I'll spritz some of my Missha First Treatment Essence on first and lock it in with this spray mask.

So easy and effective and it just sinks right into the skin. The directions say wait 3-5 minutes until completely absorbed, but this thing sinks in so fast it's like the Usain Bolt of absorbing into the skin...unless you spray on a crap ton of product, which I am guilty of doing, but even then it still sinks in really quickly. The only "con" with this product is the spray. I don't know if I got a defective spray, or if it got a little damaged during shipping or if that's just the way the sprays on this product is made, but the spray is not so great. It's not a nice luxuriously fine mist or even just a regular mist that evenly covers your face...but it's workable. Otherwise a great product. Would definitely recommend giving it a go.

Follow with essence serum, eye cream, moisturizer, night cream

INGREDIENTS
Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Water, Propanediol, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Arbutin, Polyquaternium-51, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Raffinose, Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Matricaria Flower Extract, Phellodendron Amurense Park Extract, Cassis Alata Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Adenosine, Eethylhexylglycerin, Acetic Acid, Lactic Acid, Zinc PCA, Xanthan Gum, Betaine, Sodium Metabisulfite, Phenoxyethanol

THOUGHTS
This is a very thick microfiber sheet mask that is infused with Missha's popular First Treatment Essence. It's not soaked and dripping in the essence...it is a bit on the drier side, but I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that this sheet mask is so thick? Perhaps because it's so thick it's just super absorbent so that's why it doesn't feel saturated? I actually have a bottle of the First Treatment Essence, which I love, so I ended up spraying some on top of the mask after I applied it.

Like I said, the sheet mask is very thick...so thick in fact that I though it was a layered mask where I had remove the top and bottom layers, but it wasn't a sandwiched sheet mask it's just really thick. Because the material is so thick (and therefore not as flexible) it doesn't completely adhere to the face...it does stick, but it's not like second skin type of adherence/fit. It wasn't sliding down my face or anything like that, but it was kind of lifted and sitting on top of my face if that makes sense? Especially around the mouth area for me in particular. It would bubble up around my mouth so I kept poking the mask to lay it down flat against my face. Also, it's supposed to be stretchy so you can stretch the mask out to better fit your face...it does have a bit of give, but I don't think it's that stretchy in my opinion, so don't expect to have a lot of leeway with the stretch.

That said, this was an awesome sheet mask nonetheless. The results were spectacular. I love the actual bottled essence, so I had a feeling I was going to love this sheet mask and it definitely did not let me down. This left my face so silky smooth, baby's bottom soft, hydrated and it left my face with a nice radiant glow. The best part though was that I feel like it really did improve the elasticity of my skin. I don't think I've tried an anti-aging elasticity improving type of sheet mask that has had an instant gratification effect. I feel like those type of masks are just something you have to use consistently to see any effect, but I really do feel like the skin on my face is less jiggly and more firm and plump after this brief one time use...a first for me in terms of sheet masks so far.

At $7 a pop though it is not cheap...and I am not rich enough to be buying a whole stash of these for $7 each...so instead of just spritzing the First Treatment Essence on my face, I think I'm going to start soaking some of my cotton pads in the essence to make my own makeshift First Treatment Essence "sheet masks" and use it that way as well which will be a lot more cost effective. I love this stuff. I'm already running out again. I need to go repurchase another bottle of my First Treatment essence.
This definitely get two thumbs up from me...aside from the price.
