Black Friday 2016 (Haul)
Black Friday finally came and went and I spent entirely way too much money, but I still didn't get everything I wanted and none of the products that I wanted to restock on because I was distracted by new stuff and gifts for loved ones. I spent the majority of my money on gifts for friends and family, which is why I wasn't able to get everything I wanted, but that's ok because gifts for friends and family and bringing a smile to their face is so much better and more satisfying then indulging myself...which let's be honest I still got a ton of stuff for myself as well so no need to cry me a river, although there were products that I wanted that were sold out so I couldn't get it even if I wanted to which was a bummer.
Even though Black Friday and Cyber Monday are now over, if you plan to do any online shopping you can still save some cash by using Ebates to shop. One tip though...don't have multiple windows open when checking out or it might not go through. That happened to me a couple times when I first started using it which was a bummer. Oh, and also a bummer is that they don't have deals for a lot of my Korean shopping sites like Memebox, Sokoglam, etc. but if you're shopping through a mainstream retailer they'll have it. I have wanted a Foreo device for over a year now and I finally bit the bullet and got one! I remember when I first saw the original Luna displayed in Sephora and I wanted to get it, but it was so expensive so I waited, but I'm really glad I waited because I really love the newly launched smaller lightweight travel friendly Luna Go that I got...plus, between the sale and Ebates I got a really good deal on my Luna Go which is totally awesome.
Of course it's all a matter of preference, but for me the original Luna is big and not so travel friendly, the Luna Mini I liked better but it didn't have the anti-aging mode on the back, then the Luna Play came out which I was really attracted to initially until I found out it's not rechargeable and once it's dead it's dead for good, so I'm really glad that my patience paid off because even though I just got it I really love this smaller lightweight and compact yet effective incarnation of the Luna. Only "con" is that I wish I could've gotten my Luna Go in a different color, but each skin type has a specific color that's not currently customizable so mine is the blue one for combination skin...but it's still a pretty powder baby blue so I don't mind.
I've only used it a few times now, but WOW...I noticed an immediate difference in my face after just one use. I will of course do a full in depth review later on when I've used it for longer, but it's totally awesome and worth the investment and I am so excited to now finally have it in my skincare arsenal.

I was on the Macy's site buying a gift for my mom when I saw they had an awesome Origins set of 7 products for only $20, so I immediately grabbed one for a co-worker and one for myself. Surprisingly I didn't get much from Memebox. I was expecting to get a ton of stuff from here and gauge a hold in my wallet like I always do, but I was actually quite disappointed by their Black Friday sale, which in the end fared better for my wallet...not that I didn't get anything though, but honestly if they hadn't given me $5 in Memebox points to use, which was only valid for use that weekend, I probably would have skipped Memebox altogether. Sephora had so many different gift sets to choose from, but these are the 3 brands that I've been dying to try.
Number 1 at the top of my list was belif. I have heard so many awesome things about this brand and their products so I've had my eyes on this line for awhile now. I did try out the aqua bomb tester at Sephora before placing this order and it made a very good first impression on me, so I'm really excited to give this entire a set a go.
Number 2 on my list was Drunk Elephant, which is supposed to be awesome and amazing as well. It is very expensive though, so I thought I would dip my toe into the Drunk Elephant pool with the below duo set. I also wanted to get the Nightbright set which has the infamous T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum, but that is sold out so I'll have to try that another time. They also have an "AHA Kit" and a "Let's B Clear" kit which caught my eye, but in the end I stuck with the Dayglow duo.
