A staple in Korean top celebrity spas, modeling rubber masks are a step-up from regular sheet masks. When applied, the thick layer of rubber fully conforms to the shape of your face, allowing mineral-rich nutrients to be absorbed without the risk of evaporation. For all skin types.

Alginate, found in kelp extract, that transforms from a powder to a soft gel-like texture when mixed in water. Formulated with a blend of botanicals and clays, this mineral-rich Modeling Rubber Mask helps to detoxify skin by gently lifting away impurities and dead skin cells while supplying nutrients into the skin to reveal instant brightening effects.

Lavender - This Lavender Rubber Mask creates a relaxing, tone and texture balancing facial, to leave your skin feeling well rested and glowing. Formulated with clays and botanicals. Lavender helps to detoxify skin by gently lifting dead skin cells away.

HOW TO USE
Pour water into the rubber mask cup, up to the marked line. Mix well with included spatula until it becomes a paste. Spread a thick and even layer onto clean, dry skin. Start with the cheeks, chin, forehead, and finish with the nose. Make sure a thicker layer is applied toward the edges of the face, as this will make it easier to lift and peel off afterwards. Leave on for 10-15 minutes until mask becomes a solid, rubbery texture. Gently peel off the mask and rinse off any residue with warm water. Follow with your regular skincare.

This is a really nice rubber mask, definitely better than the Magic Mask reviewed below, but it's still not my absolute favorite. It's got the usual modeling mask texture and formula, but I feel like this was a little more lenient...it gave you more time to get it on your face before "hardening". That or I've just gotten really good and quick and applying these rubber masks, but I think its the formula because I did get distracted for a minute after mixing and was delayed applying it to my face, but I still had enough time to get it on before it started to "harden" so that was nice.

I mixed this with nice cold refrigerated water, so it would be extra cooling and while it was nice and cooling for the first couple minutes, that coolness didn't last for very long...it kind of dissipated down to room temperature, which was a bit of a bummer since it's so hot here right now...it's 11PM and it's still over 100 degrees and after running my air conditioning non-stop for the past 3-4 days through 118/119 degree weather it seems to be struggling a bit.

Anywho, regardless it was still a really nice masking session nonetheless and this did leave my face feeling soothed, calm, relaxed and brightened as described...it left my face with a really nice healthy glow to it, and while it did infuse some hydration into my skin it wasn't the most hydrating masking session so if hydration is your main concern and what you're after then this may not be for you, but it does provide some. Also, while it wasn't sticky or tacky, it did leave me face with a slight...grip to it, but it's NOT sticky or tacky or bothersome in the slightest.

Overall, I do still prefer the Ettang modeling masks though: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/04/ettang.html and will stick with those. Those are very cooling the entire masking session and is more hydrating and is still very effective. Also, it's cheaper and more affordable than these Lindsay modeling masks. While this is nice and does perform the Ettang is just a little bit better in my opinion...although you will have to work a bit faster with that one as the formula starts to "harden" quicker.

September 13th, 2016: This is a nice cooling refreshing super hydrating modeling mask, but I much prefer the modeling masks from Ettang which are cheaper but provide better results in my opinion. I don't know if it's because I've been dying to try this and my expectations were high going into it, but I was kind of disappointed. While it is nice, I don't think it performs as well as the Ettang masks.

The gold, which there really are flecks of gold in this and you can see it sparkling in the powder, didn't give me the radiant glow this claims to. If you're just looking for a super hydrating cooling and refreshing mask than this will be right up your alley, but the Ettang masks are equally if not more hydrating, cooling, refreshing, and leave your skin looking luminous and bright and super soft and smooth and beautiful...results that last for the entire night and all through the next day.

The one plus about this set though is the spatula that was included. The spatula included with the Ettang masks are absolute crap, but the Lindsay spatula is bomb. It's got a long handle which makes it super easy to hold and it has a nice sizable head to easily spread and apply the product on the face. I LOVE the spatula. The included bowl is meh...it's made of a silicone rubber and it feels cheap and easily rip-able at the seams. It's convenient in a pinch, but I would much prefer using an actual bowl.

I'm sure you can tell, but this is a pass for me. It's not that it's bad, but there's better and I've already gone ahead and repurchased another box of the Ettang modeling masks to take care of my rubber masking needs.
