VERDICT
July 12th, 2017: I really wanted to love this, and I thought I would love this after trying it for the first time, but it's got one major con that I just can't get over...but first the good.
This cleansing brush has got super cute adorable Hello Kitty packaging that takes me back to my childhood. It's what initially caught my eye and made me purchase this, but even beyond the packaging this brush has got the softest bristles ever. I just love running the brush over my skin (dry) because it's sooooo super soft and feels good.
Also, it does a good job of working the cleanser on my face while still being super gentle, so it's an effective cleansing tool as well and would probably be great for all skin types...even people with sensitive skin because it is so soft and gentle.
I feel like the bristles are a tad too long and would fare better if they were a just a teeny bit shorter, but it's not a big deal. Whether or not the Vitamin C-infused bristles actually work to make a difference...I don't know as I haven't been able to use this consistently for a period of time, but it is a nice cleansing brush otherwise.
Now for the bad...the bad is that once you use this brush and rinse it, it will not dry. It takes FOREVER. It's got an extremely dense brush head that refuses to dry...even in the super dry desert heat of Vegas. I literally have to wait like 2 full days for it to dry, which is no good since I need to wash my face everyday. At first I thought maybe the ventilation holes on the cap weren't good enough, so I tried drying the brush without the cap, but even still it took forever to dry.
If I have this much trouble drying the brush in this extremely dry desert environment then I can only imagine how long it would take to dry in an environment that is much more humid, so for that reason this, unfortunately, gets a big fat pass from me...also, because the brush remained wet for so long and wouldn't dry it made me worry about mold. None formed, as far as I could see or tell in my brief stint with this brush, but it's never good to have prolonged periods of moisture...especially in an enclosed space, so while the cap is nice to have I don't think it's ideal to try and dry the brush stored in the cap even if it does have those ventilation holes...not that it matters because like I said it's not worth the trouble and I recommend a pass.
Anywho, if you're looking for a really good facial cleansing brush then I would recommend checking out the I'm Meme Dual Pore Brush: https://ahnspired.blogspot.com/2016/04/im-meme.html. It's not as cute as the Hello Kitty packaging and not as densely packed with obnoxiously soft bristles, but it's still ultra-soft and effective and cute with it's pop of hot pink AND it actually dries down completely in a timely manner.
