Coldwater Canyon is a canyon that runs perpendicular to the Santa Monica Mountains in the city of Los Angeles, CA. This 45-acre public recreation area is part of a 1,000-acre cross-mountain park that includes Wilacre State Park, Fryman Canyon State Park and Franklin Canyon Park.
Since 1977, Coldwater Canyon Park has been home to TreePeople who maintain the park with help from the Friends of Coldwater Canyon Park and the commitment of volunteers who choose to care for the park.
