Tongva Park is a 6.2-acre urban oasis, located adjacent to the Santa Monica Place Mall/3rd Street Promenade, which opened in October 2013. What used to be just another parking lot, has been beautifully transformed into a dynamic topography of rolling hills, meadows and gardens which includes an amphitheater, playground, fountains, picnic areas, and an overlook with scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and of the Santa Monica Pier.
